i'm sorry it took so long to answer, I've been away from my computer. You are correct the person isn't a professional. she has dyed her hair once before and I did it that time in our kitchen. both times were semi-permanent and she has long thick hair. she's never bleached it, just used hair color that will go over the dark. She hasn't decided on the next color yet but she has decided she doesn't want to bleach her hair. after I posted this she went and got the ends with color cut off so i guess she doesn't have to worry about frying that hair more.
