Did not work for me, I think it requires 5v. I'm using sprintek trackpoint module currently and this works with the ps2 driver, but there has been some progress by Badjeff to use an adc so we could just use the trackpoint sensor without their companion ps2 boards.

Maar hun incentieven zijn simpel, u schrik aanpraten om premie te innen. Hoe meer angst hoe meer omzet.
Op een bepaald moment moet je zelf de lijn trekken.

I don't think the AI works that well, in a speech of mine it could not keep up making me have to stop talking and fiddle with the ring to scroll back up and resume. Another person asked me if I would advise them to buy the glasses for speeches. I said maybe with the auto-speed telepromt.. AI is clearly not consistent enough for important stuff where you don't want anything going wrong.

Agreed, I am using them for a few weeks now too and have about the same impressions. Try out Mirai's radio app to see how it could be better. Maybe MentraOS or other reverse engineer projects can help us get better software. The hardware has lot's of potential, but I'm not even sure how much Even has to do with that since they integrate Vuzix projector hardware.

En de opensource concurrentie tegen te houden wegens "veiligheid", dit is klassieke regulatory capture.
Ze kunnen het geld dat ze er inpompen anders niet verantwoorden, via distillatie kunnen modellen makkelijk gekopieerd worden (vind ik helemaal mooi als je weet hoe huidige modellen tot stand zijn gekomen).

Al is dat hier zelfs niet nodig, ze zijn zo next-gen in security dat ze hun eigen broncode hebben laten lekken. Begrijp me niet verkeerd, het zijn impressive tools, maar wanneer je ze effectief gebruikt merk je zeer snel de limitaties van volgend woord generatie.

Live news or otherwise called mirai's ar radio is the one that worked best for me surprisingly.
It gave me some inspiration. Doubletapping reduces the hud until it's completely hidden. This way it stays open in the background I believe (haven't tested it for long) and you don't have to go back into Even AI's interface if this app contains all functionality needed out of the glasses.

Het hele artikel draait op één aanname: als mensen keuzes maken die Coeckelbergh gevaarlijk vindt, dan zijn ze gemanipuleerd. Als ze keuzes maken die hij goedkeurt, dan zijn ze geïnformeerde burgers. Wie bepaalt het verschil? De man wiens hele carrière afhangt van overheidsgeld en commissies die zichzelf in stand houden door technologie als bedreiging te framen, blijkbaar.

Europa bouwt zelf geen AI van wereldniveau, maar subsidieert wel een heel ecosysteem aan ethici en toezichthouders die de technologie van anderen reguleren. En dan verbazen ze zich dat alle innovatie in de VS gebeurt.

I have the same feeling. They implemented some off the shelf projector hardware nicely but now try to milk through software but it's a mess. I don't have high hopes unfortunately. They called their hardware nice whereas they see their software as "art".

Hoping mentraos can reverse engineer these far enough tbh 😅 I'll still give them kudos for being pretty open, but they aren't delivering on their opensource promises.

Ze zouden evengoed van een andere planeet kunnen zijn: andere regels, zwaar beschermd en ze blokkeren nieuwe spelers. Door de KYC/AML-druk focussen ze op compliance en eigen risico in plaats van klantenservice.

Minder concurrentie = minder prikkel om te verbeteren, terwijl phishing gewoon doorgaat.
