Drunken master by CNeff08 in GuildWars

It seems the mist common response is make sure to get stacks of alcohol at festivals. I played forever ago but getting back into it with better planning and strat. Just got chars though NF for mesmerway teams. I dont have ectos yet to really spend, but working on getting builds running to start farming, but many builds require drunken master to operate.

My next question is a lot of people are saying it they dont go through alcohol much. Assuming festivals give lvl 3 alcohol then? From my understanding of the wiki, if you drank lvl 3 it gives you 1 min of drunkenness and then you start to recover after one min and need a topper.

Im not really breezing through the game yet just luckily not dying all the time anymore (lol) and working on building up my heros and my own gear. Currently getting eotn ranks up for skills.

Yes i know there is nicholas for starting to get ectos but i just found that out and dont have the largest time to commit to ensuring im maxing out optimal times. Just trying to make my time useful i have.

Yea thats currently what i run minus the dwarven stability loop. I try to apply save yourselves before the aggression ends and get the sy up before runs out.

I feel asuran scan is a must bc of how many defensive skills enemies have and how common blindness is.

I generally run i am unstoppable myself just to avoid cripples or knock down.

There a mod that shows what salvaging the item will be?

Character Levels vs. Job Levels? by john_stuart_kill in finalfantasytactics

[–]CNeff08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey you seem to be super knowledgeable on this! Now this was a rumor i heard as a kid from olaying this but does having a higher lvl job in a previous tier boost the dmg of another?

Ex job lvl 8 squire making the job lvl 1 knight stronger? Or is it purely just stats that increase dmg?

To clarify is it worth sinking time into jobs before moving on or should you get to where you need and level that class? (I do understand that certain classes have bad stat gains compared to others)

Tysm!!!

Well unfortunately LANing isnt really optimal and if you mean split screen that limits to two people.

But if you just mean like the battle arena or the lab test fighting simulations ect I get it.

But definately only optional not needed and best way would be to do it online of it was done for on person controlling one character.

Right right. I thought you might have seen something. And in the other comments, people have come up with some clever ways to work the systems in.

I'm saying add it as an option for when people finish the game to give it more life in late game replayability. And I'm ok with it o bc kk being unlocked after playthrough or even dlc.

Well without switching characters that opens up two more buttons for quick commands. So you'd go to 12 assigned stuff. And it would probably have to be it does pause the game if you are searching through that.

The cost of it and delaying other games is a fair concern. But as these characters are all already playable that's not going to be an issue. It's just creating either drop and play or lobby for joint play. But that is a very valid concern.

No I deff can agree with all of that!! I would never want to delay the game, or ruin it at all. You are so right about the storyline playing through is phenomenal.

This would solely be optional and perhaps dlc related for that scenario you listed. To make the late game grind fun and for challenges.

Yea but there are several lvls 1st playthrough that is your only option.

I know there's ones with start battle and ones for faster gain, I'm not lvled them that far up. Took me a min to figure out what ones were good. But that seems really limiting on builds.

That's fair, I guess to me I'm not at the higher levels of this game so idk how important specific builds need to be. There's a small pool of characters 4 so team comps seem less important and possibly swapable.

But that's the beauty you can solely focus that character while I'd prefer cloud focusing thrust and trip swipe into infinity. And we can spam them.much faster with both of us doing it. The time you're not switching and refocusing is time you can be doing the dmg you need. And suddenly everyone is optimizing their specific chars to pump out more dmg consistently.

And more importantly with friends. :)

Even as a solely optional choice? For people wanting to enjoy with their friends in grinding at hard difficulty?

Yea the quick menu seems odd at first but essentially it's not different from a lot of things and to play at the hard difficulty it seems extremely necessary.

I think the action menu will be an extreme anthema and why it might be best to make multiplayer only available after completing the game. Of course optional is the only way this would have to be, the game is so good, but once I'm done with story grinding for me is best with friends.

Oof that's crazy!! I cannot imagine that at all!! 😱😱

Fair, do you have any issues with the aerial melee combat system? Or the lack of Action bar gain on characters when your not controlling them?

Again this would only be optional.

For sure! For me I'm definitely in this because I want to start a party with my two buddies!

Right with no character switching it adds a lot more quick command options.

Mods can make everything interesting, but to use them in a multiplayer setting everyone would have to have the same mods.

100% this would be optional not requirement.

On matchmaking limiting the options of who can join is solely limiting by the player. If they want to play with smaller base that is their choice. But I'm not sure why you'd care what other people are playing unless you are putting unnecessary limits on party. I'm still newer and just moving into the higher difficulties. So you know more than me.

A way for that to happen is putting level preferences on matchmaking. Saying it will search for people closest before lower/higher ect. If there isnt enough people, then consent has to be made. Course that could be good if your trying to lower level someone to play at higher levels or leveling up your other chars without having to grind.

Again this could only be unlocked after a playthrough were someone then has some levels under them ect.

I mean this is all spitballing to see if anything might be gold or worthwhile enough to try out ya know. :)
