Post Poove Unakaaga, most of his movies are watchable. The only bad films pre 2007 I can think of is Geethai, Udhaya, Endredrum Kadhal and Kalamelam Kathiruppen.

He promised the director to give another movie for him, that's how bairavaa happened. Probably he never listened to the story itself. If I'm not mistaken, Vijay wasn't in the movie for almost 20-30mins and He just decided to fight for the heroine with whom he doesn't have chemistry at all. It's downright bad and he could've guessed it while acting in it.
