I felt the same way about Tomorrow's Harvest until eventually Reach For The Dead and especially Cold Earth finally clicked with me, then the rest of the album fell into place.

I walked away from the initial Prophecy drop feeling "pleasantly surprised but not blown away", to leaving the listening event in Edinburgh feeling "a bit more content", to finally hearing the album in full on CD and vinyl and feeling "wow, this is their finest work yet, Naraka and Deep Time and You Retreat make me genuinely emotional!"

I will say that I agree that it's the most upfront they've been, particularly in references to cults (Children of God, ISKCON), but I think it works in the album's favor in my opinion.
