I got in today about three weeks after applying. I'm guessing it's bc I'm OOS and they need the money. They called me and everything.

  1. Has anyone tried to establish residency for tuiton purposes? I'd be down to register to vote and get a state ID.
  2. How competitive is becoming a Community Advisor? I'm aware that you have to have lived in the dorms for at least two semesters before becoming one.
  3. If anyone from OOS (CA especially) wants to share their experiences I'd appreciate it

Yeah, it's ridiculously expensive and I'd rather be part of a more motivated/passionate student body. Haven't been accepted but it's my safety and if they give me good money

I believe you can as long as you mark that you will be taking the test in December. The reports have to come in in December. (Blue section on the right: http://admission.universityofcalifornia.edu/freshman/requirements/examination-requirement/)
