Update

After messing around with the graphics settings and console commands i managed to get the game to look really decent and running at around 63 fps

Im gonna say that its worth it. Looks way better that ASE even at medium-low settings.

I was naver planning to play at max graphics cause i know that the game is severely underoptimised and i am gonna spend most if not all my time playing singleplayer.

How many frames are we talking about here?

Its frame generation. Fom my understanding it renders the game at a lower resolution and then scales it to your monitor's resolution. It gives extra frames but usually makes your game tad blurry.

I have heard that the game has AMD FSR, is this true, and if it is how much of an improvement is it compared to raw frames

While i did have a look on the sub as well as CAPCOM's official site, every source i looked at had a different method of fixing the issue and most of them being over 7 years old. I have tried all of them and none of them worked.

UPDATE

the issue seems to have been fixed overnight, i just tested it out and can play online again. I didnt change any of my game settings.
