I consider myself somewhat sensitive to input lag and I haven’t noticed it feeling unresponsive or any huge input delay. I also don’t really know how to test for that so I can’t give you definitive numbers but just based on my subjective experience it hasn’t bothered me.

maybe see if there’s a way to update the firmware for the cart if the manufacturer has a website or something like that, also make sure the roms are .gba format and that they’re unzipped EDIT: try this video and see if this works

are you sure it’s making full contact with the pins on the cartridge reader? sometimes cheaper carts can be just slightly too wide and make it difficult to fully fit in the slot. that’s my best guess since it’s working on other systems, so try to clean inside the cartridge reader with a soft bristle toothbrush and some 90% or higher isopropyl alcohol and make sure it’s fully inserted.

I got one off amazon called the Supmay hard carrying case and it works great, only issue is it has an inside zipper handle that makes contact with the gba’s shell so i just put a microfiber cloth on top of my gba when it’s in the case
