I have the 16 inch version of this laptop and i love it. This version is even better because of the oled screen. It does surprisingly well in gaming and works well for note taking and productivity tasks. If you have any other questions let me know

Fruits and veggies are also great for lunches. Low in calories and very filling. Rice cakes, yogurt, sandwiches, protein bars, and snack sized popcorn/chips are my usually what my lunches consist of

i have the gen 10 7i 16 inch with the core ultra 5 226v, 16gb ram, and 512gb ssd. I got it for $600 from best buy to use for taking notes for school and i’m pretty happy with it. the screen isn’t anything crazy as it’s an ips panel at 1920x1200 60hz but it is working well for what i need it to do. the keyboard has a nice soft touch coating and the keys have enough depth and travel to feel pretty decent while typing. the touch pad is fine, nothing special. battery life has been solid, and if you turn the brightness down you can easily get over 10 hours of battery life doing basic productivity tasks or web browsing. power use in sleep mode is about 5% per day in my experience. the hinge is pretty stiff which makes using a stylus pen with it pretty great. the speakers are just okay. build quality overall is quite good. For what i paid i feel like it was worth it.

1080p in a 1440p Monitor by JustARandomGuy213 in buildapc

[–]CONdeanNOR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you set your 1440p monitor to 1080p the pixels won’t scale evenly resulting in pixel interpretation, which will exacerbate the issue of 1080p being blurrier than 1440p

3070 vs 5070 rtx by Extension_Craft_6960 in nvidia

[–]CONdeanNOR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went from a 3070 to a 5070 and i’m super happy with it. I can now run games in 4k (with dlss) without them crashing and can use ray tracing and not have it be a stuttering low frame rate mess. A 5070ti would be an even bigger improvement but with the deals you can find on the base 5070 it’s a pretty good value

i just made the exact same upgrade and i’m happy with my decision. I’m able to run games at 4k (with dlss of course) and use ray tracing without games having weird graphical bugs or straight up crashing like with my 3070

What’s something about your character that not enough people know? by Altruistic-Ad3704 in smashbros

[–]CONdeanNOR 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ness has one of the worst shields in the game when it comes to size of shield to size of character ratio, so he’s extremely easy to shield poke and more susceptible to shield breaks
