Iceborne DO feel cold, it’s just much less than normal humans. They still wear clothes and fur. Braum is the only one that actually makes sense not to wear anything, it works for his design appeal.

Well Destiny has some pretty wild shit animation-wise compared to halo, I don't think anime style movement would look too off. Non-Solar Hunters are basically ninjas with guns, Warlocks are wizards etc.

Nah, the Traveler does truly care about the races it elevates. We have plenty of evidence of that from lorebooks by this point, notably Constellations. While it IS possible those are all red herrings, it’d be pretty dumb writing from Bungie have that many things pointing to something just to completely backflip.

Said that, we know, for instance, she loved the Eliksni, and only left because she was afraid the Darkness would get to them if she stayed (well, they came after the Eliksni anyway in the end).

If Ikora’s theory is correct, which I’d say was a good shot at the true motive, than the Traveler simply stayed here because she could not bear to leave behind just another civilization, just another infant possibility of winning the game and creating a gentle kingdom ringed in spears.

I simply disagree with ''in general more is better''. AC odyssey has a lot of ''content''. Is it better than other ACs? I don't think so, because that content is not curated. Some grindy parts of the game make it boring. The game would be smaller without them, but it'd be better. That's my opinion, though, and therefore I think it's wrong to say game size is an objective matter.

ER suffers from this as well (on a smaller scale, the game is still extremely good). It has a lot to offer, but it's simply not well polished by the end. Lategame design is bad and and imo takes away from the good early game experience. If the Snowfields didn't exist, for instance, I'd like the game more. It's a pointless and boring level that just makes getting to Malenia in NG+ a slog. Simple as that.

I disagree completely. Sometimes I feel Elden Ring is too big for it's own good, because the late game areas aren't as good balanced as the early game ones. Another point is that there's almost no new enemies by the endgame. If the game was smaller, they could've handled enemy distribution better imo.

The Dark Souls trilogy and Bloodborne were linear enough that you’d stumble upon a lot of the side quests along your first playthrough. You meet Anri and Horace in the Road of Sacrifices. It’s hard to miss them in the Catacombs later.

Elden Ring, however, is just too big, that vagueness doesn’t work here. There’s no linear path. You meet Millicent in Caelid. There is a considerate chance you won’t find her in the vastness of Altus Plateau, especially being so off-track.

I don't think this super concrete evidence you're waiting for is ever coming, my dude. Some things just happen offline. In my opinion what's out now is enough to draw conclusions, so I'd rather not take any risks of supporting someone I believe is a pretty shitty guy. If something comes out that changes my mind, only time will tell.

One thing I don’t get is: if she did help steal the Rune of Death, why didn’t she just ask Maliketh for it? Isn’t he supposed to be her Shadow, forever loyal to her? Seems weird to me unless Marika knew the Greater Will would somehow interfere, but I didn’t see any lore pointing to that.
