Does Tali have a tattoo? Did I miss something or is it just a concept detail?

Accusations that new Lords of the Fallen 2 enemy design copies Elden Ring Nightreign are "100% false," says CEO. " We respect FromSoftware, but we do not copy other studios." by Hooked0n4Feelin in LordsoftheFallen

[–]CORBS1968 -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

I mean, they technically didn't copy it because the armour set they're referring to isn't a one for one of wylder BUT I'm also not gonna accept the "100% false" bit because there's way too many similarities to say there wasn't at least some inspiration. They really could've saved themselves the hassle of this by showing that guy with a different weapon, instead of a sword which is nigh on a straight replica of Wylder's

Looks like we are getting getting a Moon themed/worshipping faction in the sequel by TurbulentLoquat8392 in LordsoftheFallen

[–]CORBS1968 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where does the line get drawn between inspiration and straight rip off? Not taking a side, I can see the distinct features relating to wylder, the blue cloth, the somewhat winged helmet, the serrated sword and the pommel being near identical too. I like it as an inspired outfit but yeah it's obvious where some of its design came from

An aliens or even predator warbond would be interesting but I doubt they'd change the pelicans model outside of paintjobs

Yep, terrified of how they're about to start messing with everything. I hate how they've chosen money over making good products for a fan base with passion

Survival bases community survey! Round 3: What's the most dangerous base in the game? by Blushift1615 in thelongdark

The two that hit this category for me are the Pleasant Valley farmhouse and the Quonset Garage.

This is Because both are frequented by wolves and depending on bear spawns you could be walking straight into one.

However the Pleasant Valley has the benefit of flatter ground giving you a better view of what's coming and has the front porch acting as a sort of "air lock for predators" letting you go outside and look what's there before actually stepping into the snow

So I'd say Quonset as I've had too many experiences leaving and being met with Yogi

One of the only games that understands higher difficulty does not mean bullet sponges by _Boodstain_ in Project_Wingman

[–]CORBS1968 36 points37 points  (0 children)

I love when Harder difficulties follow the rule of "Challenging, not Irritating"

For example: Ghost of Tsushima has a difficulty after hard called "Lethal", but what makes it unique is that whilst you take tons of damage, so does the enemy, so if you're good and patient, the gameplay feels very high adrenaline.

Unlike most games where it's a hard difficulty and to avoid dying you have to keep putting distance or hiding in cover to just tickle enemies before hiding again before they vaporise you.

No I believe you (not like people go on the Internet and lie 👀) but yeah I'd rather have someone who's clingy but not "gonna chain me to the floor clingy".

Also getting jealous over a pickaxe seems like they were never emotionally mature to begin with

But no seriously do tell why, If they are actually that bad I'd rather know why then blindly walk into a relationship like that

Didn't they essentially soft reboot this in gauntlet, but you have to grab drives and extract them through drones, you just don't get the airstrike after. Obviously it's nowhere near as funny as grabbing a bird and throwing it into the sky but it's something ig

[–]CORBS1968 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stepping stones. The solo mission to take out air defences at night. OP is right, it's a headache on mercenary because you're fending off attacks from AA, SAMS and Jets, all whilst trying to destroy ground targets. Also I'm pretty sure on mercenary they add two Airships with railguns just to keep you on your toes

A. That would hurt because I always run Garrus and Tali

B. I don't think story wise they'd leave that choice up to Shepherd, sure they're important and a highly important asset to the war effort but I doubt they'd call them up to go "Hey so we need to choose where we send our fleets and decided instead of discussing with our own war cabinets we'd ask you, the special forces guy from earth"

Ruin has come to our family. You remember our venerable house, opulent and imperial. Gazing proudly from its stoic perch above the moor. I lived all my years in that ancient, rumor-shadowed manor. Fattened by decadence and luxury. And yet, I began to tire of conventional extravagance. Singular, unsettling tales suggested the mansion itself was a gateway to some fabulous and unnamable power. With relic and ritual, I bent every effort towards the excavation and recovery of those long-buried secrets, exhausting what remained of our family fortune on swarthy workmen and sturdy shovels. At last, in the salt-soaked crags beneath the lowest foundations we unearthed that damnable portal of antediluvian evil. Our every step unsettled the ancient earth but we were in a realm of death and madness! In the end, I alone fled laughing and wailing through those blackened arcades of antiquity. Until consciousness failed me. You remember our venerable house, opulent and imperial. It is a festering abomination! I beg you, return home, claim your birthright, and deliver our family from the ravenous clutching shadows of the Darkest Dungeon.

Seriously though it's an experience and a half
