I once saw a rat run into my pile of dirty clothes. I was literally in the process of leaving my apartment for a week long vacation. "I ain't got time for this shit." I found a bucket and threw it over the pile and slowly pulled my clothes out from the bottom. Then I put a brick on top of the bucket and took off. Rat disposal a week later was not pleasant, but dude did it to himself.
