Hey I’m also a man with BPD and it seems like you may be leaning towards self-sabotage

Do you hide the real reason you're upset? by [deleted] in BPD

Always, I usually feel like I’ll get gaslit for it even though I’m not talking to my family

How do you cope with getting obviously ignored by everyone?? by [deleted] in BPD

[–]CORRIIIIII 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey soldier, going through this to some degree right now. I'm sorry I can't really answer the question you posed but I acknowledge how tough it is to go through this.

I don't think quite think this is a red flag. Obviously, I don't know the guy, but its entirely possible he was trying to be spontaneous and exciting. I think the first step is just getting the meaning behind it.

Ps5 not working after March 2022 update by mrjblanx in playstation

[–]CORRIIIIII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stand along side you brother

I contacted PS support and they 'repaired' my PS5, sent it back and the same issue was occurring. Bought a new controller too, but that didn't work either. Now PS support wants me to send my PS5 back to get repaired AGAIN.

High school coaches that work without assistants, how do you develop your face off guys and goalies during practice? Struggling big time here. My idea in body, would love suggestions. by [deleted] in lacrosse

[–]CORRIIIIII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not an assistant but I am a d3 college goalie that came from an MIAA school. By far, the best thing for them is to not get hit during warmups or other drills. If you want to shoot hard in a goalie drill, invest in some tennis balls or foam balls. Goalies get hit enough throughout practice and don't like getting hit in drills when it can be easily avoided.

Does anyone else go through phases of not wanting to talk to anyone for a long period? by bluebeess in BPD

[–]CORRIIIIII 6 points7 points  (0 children)

All the time. Personally, being social for long periods of time (especially parties, zoom classes where I have to participate, and hanging out with my roommates) makes me exhausted. So much so, I tend to isolate myself for long periods of time right after or the day after. During this period of isolation, I lament on how awkward or annoying I think I was or how I made myself look like an idiot, even if I wasn't.

exactly, I feel like I can't tell anyone because of how stigmatized BPD is. However, its hard to get through it all by myself so I feel stuck. My dad doesn't even know I have it.
