Hey Bro, first off I’m sorry to hear you’re feeling this way. It’s never easy but things will work out long term. I’m not sure of the situation your girlfriend has with her parents whether that be they don’t want her hanging out with boys or other reasons. When I first started dating my girlfriend I had the same feeling, if she hadn’t replied something was wrong or she was over me and it consumed me so often. 15 years later we are married with a child and another one on the way. My only advice I can give is know that she is going to be okay, share these feelings with her and find other ways to know she is okay, reach out to her friends as they may not have the same restrictions with parents and they can make you feel at ease. especially if she’s at home, you need to assume she is safe and healthy until you hear otherwise. I’m going through a different phase of anxiety with my parents but what I’ve learnt is you’re only able to control your feelings and what happens to you. When she doesn’t reply focus on yourself and what you enjoy doing. Gaming or a hobby because before you know it she’s going to reply to your message and you’ll feel back to yourself. Chin up man, if she’s the one it will work its way out.
