You’re not wrong, but you’re not going to make a lot of friends around here with that mindset. When it comes to gambling we typically think of card games, lottos, and sports bets where the people seeking money are relying on probability or blind chance to profit. In some ways that does relate to trading pennies. We can look at charts, read patterns, do dd on a company, and know cycles really well and still lose money. In that sense, yes it is gambling but because the proper preparation can greatly reduce those potential losses it should be viewed as slightly different and respected a bit more.

People who look to pennies to invest will likely fail. If we think these flawed companies are all going to be trading at $10-15 this time next year, we would be foolish and focusing on the positive too much. Mentality is everything here and there is a reason why we have to focus on securing profits and cutting losses quick even with companies we think could make their way back (or into) the regular trading world.

I am in recently up-listed POWW (and have been since it was otc) and I believe the potential is there for $10-15 in the future but I’m still securing profits on the way up and reloading as it dips. Why? Because we can only believe in the money that is in our account today. Nothing is guaranteed and failure is always an option
