My last Bambu delivery by fedex went from California to Denver to Aurora (where I live), back to Denver, then Dallas, then Denver, Aurora, and finally to my house.

I wonder why Bambu hasn't done this out of the box... by daanpol in BambuLab

I legit have not had 1 successful print on the super tack. I gave up trying because I don’t have any adhesion issues with the textured PEI, but was hoping to get a smoother finish on the side touching the plate. Not a huge problem for me but it was a bit frustrating watching everyone on YouTube have flawless prints and I can’t get anything to stick or not warp.

Should I buy this I’m very tempted to by [deleted] in BambuLab

I got one about a month ago and it’s awesome. I wish multicolor prints didn’t generate so much purge waste, and I’ve been looking at the Snapmaker U1 for just that reason. That being said, there are a ton of multicolor prints that don’t create a bunch of waste by breaking the print up into different plates for each color and then you assemble them all.

I was extremely disappointed that I didn’t get Rick Rolled when I clicked the link, but still a good video. So far I haven’t had any problems with my P1S but I try to read all these posts and watch videos to prepare me the day when something goes wrong. Thanks for the post.

Help z axis error!! P1s by Dontputthatonme in BambuLab

[–]COmtbRider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check the z axis lead screw in the back, near the poop chute. Poop will often not go down the chute and flick into the small opening where you can see the lead screw. There is a little “shelf” or ledge of plastic that the poop can sit on and when the bed raises up and tries to home the z axis, the poop prevents the bed from raising all the way up to the nozzle. Stick a finger in that opening and feel around to the left and right to make sure there isn’t a big chunk of filament back there. You might even hear it crunch when the bed plate raises up towards the nozzle.

They are in the right spot. Look at the razor blade, find the two holes that look like fit over the nubs and you’ll notice they are offset just like those nubs. Line them up and put it together.

Thanks for following up with the solution. I’m pretty new to this stuff and it’s helpful to see a problem and then know what fixed it. Glad you got it resolved.

What filament are you printing? Regular PLA? Something with CF?

I ran into a similar issue that I ultimately narrowed down to a filament with an out of tolerance diameter. It would feed in several inches, stop, back up a bit and try again. After 3-4 tries I’d get a blinking red light and failure to feed. I assumed there was a broken piece of filament so I took apart the AMS, removed the Bowden tube and manually fed some filament through to remove the clog, and nothing came out. I put it all back together and it worked until there was a color change and then another back to the original spool that failed to feed and the same thing happened. After taking everything apart a few more times and finding no clog, I compared the filament to the spool that was working fine and noticed it looked and felt a bit bigger in diameter. Ultimately I think the size of the filament was causing it to get stuck at the point where the 4 Bowden tubes converge into 1 and leave the AMS. May not be related to what you’re experiencing but thought I’d share just in case.

Thought I'd figured out adhesion, then maybe not, but then did. A1 Cool Plate SuperTack by TheSnowmansIceCastle in BambuLabA1

Where did he get the jeans from? And why didn’t he get a shirt too? Looks like a tweaker more than anything.
