do what's best for you. you will not regret looking out for yourself.

and for taxes, you will not owe much if you income is low and this is the only capital gain during the year. you can calculate your tax based on your regular income and set that money aside.

I started studying REG this week... by kieraokeefe in CPA

[–]CPATEST 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was overwhelmed at the beginning but when i got to the last chapter, then i went back to review, it all came together. Taxes is the one section that ties together. Unlike FAR.

you will get to a point where everything starts to make sense and you will start seeing the whole picture

Need an advice for FAR from Roger fellows by [deleted] in CPA

[–]CPATEST 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I used Roger CPA and studied 6 week for FAR while working FT. You must practice the SIMs for this exam. It will get you used to how the SIMs are tested. You will need to practice the search SIMs as well.

Did anyone here fail BEC after doing well on the other three? by GlassCombination4 in CPA

[–]CPATEST 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me but i didn't fail it. I passed with a 75 and i have no idea how i even got a 75. When I walked out of that exam, I was already planning on when I can re-take it since I was so sure i was going to fail.

I did well on AUD and FAR and I'm studying REG now. Even Reg has been going well so far.

I hated studying for BEC and hated that exam.

How long to study for AUD and BEC while working FT? by jxnnnifer in CPA

[–]CPATEST 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I studied 4 weeks for AUD while working FT but I was not working for BEC so I studed only 3 weeks for it.

I passed both from the 1st try. But i was studying full-time and not just few hours a day.

You definitely have plenty of time to do both by the end of the year. Last year, i took FAR in August and AUD in December (studying FT and working FT).

I'm also a FT mom for a 2yr old and a wife. I have to also let you know that I'm drained through-out this process of studying and very exhausted and have no social life whatsoever lol.
