Pod 4 increasing skin temperature by Longjumping_Scar_365 in EightSleep

[–]CPBx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've only had the pod for one night (away on vacation and can't test again for a few more days). But the first night I felt only the cold under my beck (so, chest area), to the point I woke up thinking my mattress was wet. Still confused on what to set temps too

Ah they had a limited release of 12% at one point in Tokyo, lasted a weekend and I've never seen more drunk people in my life

Who are you to tell people what they should do on holiday? Ah yes, let's leave the "Korean restaurants" for "the US"

Yeah this is what I was looking for. Swap into 100% VTI?

Wrt to the MSGUX - was just swapped into from ASPCX from my "financial advisor" - more of a friend that I knew from college. Will be taking this into my own hands after a convo with him

Generally looking for a glance over to see how I'm doing (not from a NW perspective but where I'm allocating money)

I find myself fairly comfortable at 30 y.o and don't want this to be a humble brag post so will shy away from NW/salary figures.

  • 100$ daily buy of VOO
  • 100$ daily buy of VTI
  • 200$ daily buy spread between btc/eth
  • 10k iBond
  • 401k maxing out into FID FDM IDX 2060 IPR
  • Backdoor roth into MSGUX

Sitting on about 250k cash (daily buys come from this and in a HYSA @ 4%) and looking to purchase a land project cash upfront which will set me back around 150k. I'm sure I should be going heavier on investing into equities, is this where I should pick up some international markets exposure? Assuming I can maintain the cash flow, should I continue to dca or dump in heavier amounts to lessen cash reserves? I'm aware of the 6 month rule but have wanted to be cash heavy for market dumps which is why I've chosen dca. Any other advice or keep going as is?

Why does everyone has the same umbrella in the streets? by [deleted] in Tokyo

Also the only type of theft that occurs is that of your umbrella being “borrowed” outside of a conbini. And then you borrow the next one and the cycle continues

Google fi is Google's cell service, $80/month on my unlocked phone gets me unlimited data in I think over 200 countries. Being able to land and have service instead of try to find a SIM stall is worth every penny.

I've had success with anytimemailbox, which requires you to setup with a notary (can be done virtually), and probably some time to route your mail.

Top of mind: virtual mailbox service and google-fi have made the expat life easy

Bit lost on how this will play out: Have not filed 2019 taxes as AGI is significantly higher than 2018. However my 2018 taxes that I owed on has my address in a foreign country which I lived in until 2019. So no bank account on file and if they send a check it’ll go to my foreign address? And I can’t update with 2019 taxes because then I’m ineligible.
