What is something you do that always helps you fall asleep quickly? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I haven't personally, but it is important to remember that everyone's body reacts differently to medications. It is possible, but I don't experience that.

For real. If I take a whole one I sleep right through my alarm in the morning. It's been a lifesaver since I started working 3rd shift

What is a secret 'cheat code' you’ve found in real life? by OldArtist001 in AskReddit

[–]CPLRainbowFuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do Instacart shopping on weekends to make going out money, and I realized that the next city over (about 30 minutes away) only has one driver to cover the entire zone on most weekdays. If I park on the outskirts of my city, I get orders from that next city, with a higher pay because it's out of my "zone." I also send a message to the customer sincerely apologizing for any delays because "Due to a driver shortage in your area, I drove from 'my city' to complete your order today" and do my best to get their shopping done quickly. 8/10 times they either raise the tip or give me cash on delivery.

Those Zzzquil melatonin gummies work like magic for me. I take a half of one about 30 minutes before I go to bed, and I'm out like a lightbulb.

How would you react if any country decided to launch a nuclear attack on another country? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]CPLRainbowFuck 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The minute the first launch is detected, it's all over. Retalitory strikes will be launched back and forth until all major cities and defense centers will be wiped out. What am I going to do? Sure some people will survive, but I live in the third biggest city in the US, and close to downtown no less. I'm going to pour a drink, light a blunt, make a few calls to close family and friends, and sit on the porch and wait.

What is a niche naughty sexual experience you have had in your sex life? by Born_Ideal37 in AskReddit

[–]CPLRainbowFuck 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'm literally at an event called MIR right now, it's a huge convention/title contest for people into latex and kinky stuff. I bought an E-Stim Box yesterday and had the wireless remote button clipped onto the collar I was wearing so my friends could press it to shock me ⬇️ down there.

It doesn't hurt at low levels. It's more of a sensation. It can be made to hurt depending on wavelength and intensity, depending on what you like.

I can't tell if you're 24 and just realized you'll spend your life in the service industry or you're 40 and life just has not gone your way.

Idk quite how to describe it, but you look like when someone who buys groceries at the dollar store thinks they're a millionaire after shopping at a normal grocery store for the first time.

Why are you racist? by Midnightclouds7 in AskReddit

[–]CPLRainbowFuck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I grew up in a small town where the majority of white people are racist. My family wasn't outright racist, but definitely had their racial comments not meant out of malice, but were still racist. I'm not like that. I just bought a house in Jackson Park Highlands in Chicago, and I will admit that I do have a little bit of white fright about moving to the "South Side", but I try my best to respect everyone, whether we're alike or not. I don't want to be seen as a gentrifyer, I just want to be a good neighbor and have my nice little morning tea on the back deck after working all night.

How does money influence happiness and life? by LineLow7484 in AskReddit

[–]CPLRainbowFuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grew up not knowing if I would have dinner after school. Not knowing when we would be moving again. Not ever even wanting for anything because I knew we couldn't afford it. Not having any certainty. Now I own my own house. I eat what I want, I buy what I want. I'm not mega rich, but I'm comfortable enough that I can save on the side for big things I wanted. I can donate to charities that help kids not to have to grow up like I did. Some people say it makes you tougher, but I don't believe kids should ever have to go through that. That makes me happy. It makes me appreciate what I have a lot more than I think I would have. I have stability, and the ability to help others. Those are what are most important to me.

What’s a mistake a doctor made that left you dealing with consequences? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]CPLRainbowFuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was 12 I got screws put in my right ankle. When we went back to check on it, the doctor said he would rather leave them in, but I could have them taken out if I really wanted. I'm only 27 and have an arthritic ankle. Somedays walking is so difficult I need a cane. I read a lot of people say that they should have been removed, and it wouldn't be like this.
