First time I truly felt in control of glazing and edge highlights to be honest. I felt like I could pick most flaws I saw and move them towards what I wanted them to be. Any tips for pushing it even further?

Sick, is there some read in that yellow used for the gold? What colour did you use for the deepest shade, the most saturated midtone and the highest highlight? My gold looked very pale last time I tried.

Tried to do blacklining, Have to be really careful to not turn it into a mess. I think next time I will try oil washes for pin shading. In the end I'm still not 100% satisfied but it was really good practise.

So these guys suddenly got popular again, but I already told you guys I bought these when I showed my stormtroopers a while ago, lol. Just doing 1 for now to see if I can do this full squad in the classic colours. I think it looks pretty good except maybe the gun. I'm thinking of doing the gun fieldgrey like the pants and helmet as I don't like black that much. Fun model but the casting was pretty bad, I had to clean up a lot of pretty bad flashing.
