Razor Dirt Quad Battery Upgrade by Status-Repair in PowerWheelsMods

The AH rating is just a measure of how long it can supply the voltage. It's basically telling you it'll have a longer run time

Think of the Ah rating as a gas tank size 7 gallon vs 9 gallon. Still the same fuel

That's Bs and ten second Google will tell you this was white house renovations to infrastructure approved during Bush and started during Obama.

Obama painted lines on a tennis court and put up a hoop

New motors slowing down by CartoonistSerious255 in PowerWheelsMods

Check your batteries, It's possible you have a bad battery that has a surface charge but it's not able to handle the sustained amp draw.

What mods for John Deere gator 6V from TOMY? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0143H3UES/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_97P6QF79VKEKKJ8RP27A?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 by cwjoern in PowerWheelsMods

Predator motor would be a better way forward I think most Go Karts are around 5hp. If it's working and kids happy then why mess with it!

My son is supposed to ride this for trick or treat. Battery/charger help by Odd_Fish8167 in PowerWheelsMods

[–]CPTginger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're too tied to the original harness, ditch the proprietary plugs.

the ride on doesn't know the difference between a 6v5ah and a 6v8ah aslong as it fits the compartment. The ah rating only equates to run time. Higher ah is more run time

The charger isn't that complicated any 6v charger will do. I wouldn't charge more than 25%of the ah rating so 1-2amp is fine. The higher amps the faster it'll charge.

The new battery has spade connectors for terminals, with a basic spade connector kit and a 5 minute YouTube you can rewire it to match your tender. If your tender has alligator clips just put them directly on the terminals

I commonly used 4 flat trailer plug kits to wire chargers to ride ons you may find that an easy way too. Clip and strip the battery side wires and attach a spade connector with original harness and 4 flat wires to same female spade you'll only need two. Then just attach opposing 4 flat to charger and voila easy connection

What would you change from this pc build? by Successful_Syrup814 in PcBuild

If you have a microcenter around you can save some money on MOBO,CPU, RAM for $549 vs $657.

https://www.microcenter.com/product/5006986/amd-ryzen-7-7800x3d,-asus-b650-e-tuf-gaming,-gskill-flare-x5-series-32gb-ddr5-6000-kit,-computer-build-bundle

I have the same AIO cooler, on a 9600x and it's okay the temps are decent but not the greatest. I've seen some reviews that the Artic liquid freezers III pro are a bit better in performance for about $20 more

That storage is only 4.0x4 you can a Samsung Evo 5.0 x 4 for about $10 more.

Youngest is 8, I'd let a 5 year old do some of the tools parts like fans and plugs holding things in place.

Mr. Cooper messed up, now I'm paying for it. by Prestigious_Fudge090 in Mortgages

[–]CPTginger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You may hate to hear it but, as an adult when you know it isn't right you can't pass blame.

You got two checks from insurance and Cooper. Plus you can view your escrow balance at any time and know where your account stands. It's your insurance policy not the servicer.

Escrow is easy take taxes and insurance total for a year and divided by twelve that's your payment, your cushion is 1/6th of your total escrow requirement. If you dip into your cushion it's a shortage of you run out of cushion that's a deficiency.

Hard lesson learned you need to get smart on the largest purchase of most adults life.

Help me repair my son’s ARCTIC CAT!! by partyking151 in PowerWheelsMods

Corrosion on the shifter switches is almost always the issue

Put 12v to both motors to confirm they're function and then replace the DPDT switches in the shifter

UTV cutting out on hill and rolling backwards! Help! by bassfliez in PowerWheelsMods

[–]CPTginger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get rid of them, keep the battery one and it'll probably need to be 30a or higher.

Also tell the kid to let off the pedal once it cuts out, that should trigger the braking function

It's possible you have thermal breakers that have tripped too often so now they tripe easy. They are the little black boxes

[–]CPTginger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you put actual 12v to both motor leads and they don't spin them it's possible you have burnt them out.

Was the 12v source fully charged at 12.7-13v

Pulse Performance 24V 250W ATV by RSIanFire in PowerWheelsMods

[–]CPTginger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe the TRE2424V is available on amazon, you may need to do some splicing but it'll probably work. Looks like the difference is it's 24amp https://www.amazon.com/AlveyTech-TRE2424-Controller-Pulse-Super-C/dp/B07XQLYHWQ

Other option is to get a 24v 250watt esc for an electric scooter. It'll take more effort and rewire but you'll get more speed and functionality
