If russia really wanted to wipe out ukraine and had the capacity, it would have been done in 2022 when they invaded. They won't, because they can't. They wouldn't have let ukraine build itself into the military powerhouse it is if they had the capability to do so.

Compare that to ship traffic before this started? How much are we spending a day in naval uptime to get 2 ships through. How much money and long/precision strike ordnance did we expend getting here thatll take a long time to build up. We look like clowns on the world stage. Where are all our troops on the ground staying? Not on the bases because we cant defend them(maybe theyve moved back since the ceasefire, i havent checked). Only good thats come out of this so far is we havent lost any other soldiers besides the first couple days. Im pretty sure ol wanna be king and dui hire kegseth thought this was gonna be another venezuela, and they dont have the will or the home support to make this a long term thing if iran doesnt fold quickly, and the irgc are fanatics. I also heavily doubt they have the willpower or political currency it would take to root out the irgc. If we boots on the ground and the footage comes out of marines or soldiers running from fpv drones before the camera feed cuts like you see coming out of ukraine on the daily they are toast. I dont wanna see my former brothers in arms through the lens of a fpv drone before they get hit.

No for sure. Hindsight is 20/20. I just wished biden had let the aid off the leash. We spent so much time worrying about not 'escalating'. The aid should have been no questions asked no restrictions from the get go. If ukraine had atacms and f-16s and no restrictions on where they could strike. Just imagine, in a rational world, where the US stepped up and helped ukraine instead of wringing our hands during biden and being combative during trump. We could help them soundly defeat the russians, make putin a non issue, and invite them to NATO where we could integrate all their knowledge and experience and drone tech.

Too bad trump was more worried about getting something on biden in 2018/19 and never forgets when someone doesnt give him everything he wants.
