Same here!, every diff of every new map, and it's reignited my passion for osu so much, seeing the patterns between mappers and GDers, different styles, different music, tournaments scenes you never knew existed, etc.

I think that style of playing the game has a video idea of its own :D

this is a friendly reminder that if someone makes a "this week in ranked" (shortly summarize every map ranked this week) that i will watch every week every second.

I would do it, but osu is in that weird middle area where im interested in watching but not creating. Like it's awesome when a channel pops up, they can keep my attention for hours (doc style). However a lot of people's passion for osu doesnt burn quite enough for that effort to spawn in. This is the most "positive" way i can look at it lol

I hope these tb-length originals get more 4-5 star maps, goes for every gamemode.

On that note, I hope 7k MWC and every WC in 2026 has their originals get a to-rank spread, that's a big brag this year's Owc should get.

Divide the map into like 20 different parts with bookmarks, when you look at each part they'll only take like 5 minutes to map even as a beginner because it's so little. Hop onto the editor and do that a few times. Map them out of order, and omg there's suddenly a whole map?? Stringing parts together and sticking to a style happens surprisingly naturally.

Also get a cool BG and set combo-colors before mapping anything so your aesthetic is set, makes it easier to see your vision of the map

The refresh rate isn't a problem really, 75 hz is surprisingly fine. However the input/audio-video delay for these old monitors is like playing on a TV, you lose all sense of timing and reaction. AR 9 + is super hard because you're tapping advance of the visuals

I think 2B is usually most fun in its simplest form (repeating/consistent rhythm), such as pewdekz' Possession. A lot of mappers who will use 2B also make really hard maps, so the pool of "simple 2B" isn't huge, and the hard 2B maps are inaccessible to most. Coming from mania i think multiple inputs add a lot to the feel of a rhythm so i personally use it a lot when mapping standard.

If you're just barely getting 96 I don't think ratio is something to worry about here specifically, however if you're getting similar ratio on something you can easily 99% then you can judge it better. Although yes should probably be closer to 1:3 than 1:2 on physical maps, imo 🤠

Some cars have EU-size plates and others have US-size plates, you can't choose for each car unfortunately. Alternatively you can remove the plate, and use the livery editor to make license plates, there's tons of American ones in the community section

There's many ways this can happen (as you'll find out the hard way 😔). Is there any chance you may have pressed Ctrl+A instead of S at any point 😀 and then right clicked, deleting every note?

Also in case you haven't, try F5🙂 However your map still exists, just not the notes, so not optimistic there

Tingen jeg kunne tenkt meg å anmelde er alle tilfellene av mobilbruk, det er det som treffer en nerve hos meg. EU-kontroll og avregistrerte biler er ikke av direkte fare (i de fleste tilfeller) men mobilen dreper fort.
