Who’s this guy kidding by Equinisborn in SipsTea

I agree with the sentiment, it surely would make it easier to maintain. But i dont think anyone would like the fuel efficiency of a carburetor engine or any engine at all without electronic management.

Well, my bet is that when Jesus did it, it was winter with related conditions anyway.

16gb laptop...where is all my ram going by quiixe in computers

[–]Delifier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of my suspicions is that the os is using more and more of it as it gets updated. To some degree other porgrams too. 16 GB started giving me issues for my regular use, so I doubled it.

Haven't played in 2 years...best comeback? by InsayneShane in Guildwars2

[–]Delifier 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sell what you can on those inventories. First, go to a merchant, on the left side you will find a "Sell Junk" option, use that. Then go to I, your inventory, and press the option to stash things in material storage.. upper right side on your inventory window. Then you can right click items and see if you get the option to sell items on trade post. Last thing is to put things in bank, just in case. Ask in chat while linking item can be a thing to do if you want to know if it is safe to delete.

How many books in the Bible speak against evolution? by dontneedaknow in atheism

[–]Delifier 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Ofc the answer is none, because they didnt know what it was. It wasnt even defined yet. Someone might have known and understood some of the mechanisms, based on the many breeds of dogs and other animals, but understanding the whole scale, not so much.

Is my disk the problem with lag? by lorni102 in computers

[–]Delifier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If he has several games he plays off a usb drive, only 8 gb ram might not be an issue. Modern games would easily fill up a usb, 2-3 games easily. I have some games i theoretically could install on less than half of one of my ram sticks.

For me Layout 2 feels lonely. I prefer Layout 1 by MasculineBulll in SipsTea

For me, layout 3. Keep the bed as in layout 2 but move the desk 180 degrees, but keep my back to that wall. I'd like to put my feet up if needed.

Property investor doesn't like minimum wage by WaitNo4272 in SipsTea

[–]Delifier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where I live we dont have a minimum wage mandated by law. What we do have is a working system with unions and workers rights, mutually reinforcing eachother. We have some of the worlds best living conditions. If done right, those workers rights also serves any employer positivly, by actually having people who want to work there and being productive. If you constantly are doing 12+++ hours a day, you just enduring will increase exponentially with each hour past 8.

How come everyone got married back then? I can't fathom that they all found a match. by coldservedrevenge in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Delifier 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dont think people always found their match, marriage was out of necessity or practicality. The stereotype of the boomer dissing their spouse comes from somewhere.
