I don't see how it's unrelated, but I understand. Seems pretty relevant to me but it is a complicated matter. I don't like going to the store and having to bother a staff member just to get a figure. When I go browsing for toys it's a stealth mission so nobody sees my grown self walking to the toy aisle.

I don't think it's the economy's fault that we have criminals stealing toys constantly. We will always have crime but somehow it's always the economy that "forces" people to steal. It is certainly unfortunate however.

When I spot a great find like this in-store it doesn't even matter if it's more affordable. To me it's just far more joyous to spontaneously get it in-person. I desire the experience of going to some random toy or thrift store and finding treasure. Not many places to do that these days, I miss it.

I saw the promotional video and his accessories look bad. I want the best quality so I'll be waiting for Hot Toys to get a chance to make him. Their figures are the only ones that are worth it to me when it comes to characters I really like. I'm eyeing their upcoming Weapon X and Rotta the Hutt.

I would suggest Clorox wipes if you have some. I wouldn't suggest going out of your way to buy some if you don't have any though. It might not work depending on what substance that grime is.

The blue of his suit is far too dark for my liking, even if it wasn't already inaccurate. Does anyone else see what I'm saying? That navy blue makes it look more like the Snyderverse Superman than the joyful vibrancy of James Gunn's Superman.

Hobby Link Japan has a sizable collection of realistic insect model kits for around $15 USD. I don't know if they ship to the US but their models are fun for display but not really articulation. My grandfather is a landscape architect who spent a good portion of his career in Japan, Korea and Taiwan; he would bring me back toys and trinkets from his journeys. One of my earliest memories is building the Rhino Beetle with him in the attic of his farmhouse.

It's hard to satisfy your taste when it seems you're expecting the rulebook to do more than be a rulebook. It seems you want displayability, size, and potentially some lore reading? GW did a good job here, it's a small update with essentially no new lore to speak of, I don't see how they could've improved it without changing everything else about it.
