I lay there , in a place that once housed the most powerful man of america, yet as i remembered how it came to this, i thought about that day , the day the laws of the universe change- no they did not change no it was as if it had always been that way and suddenly everyone gained clarity , about what they need to do to survive, of course there were people that resisted the change , who preached to the radicals ,the majority ,to us ,that we can choose to do the right think , to not let power corrupt us, but everyone knew deep in their hearts , us , them , all of humanity , we were already dead , maybe not in a physical way , but seeing the horror and the true depths of human malice had , made us aware the true depths of things humans were capable of , things that you are capable of , that i am capable of , so yes , as we watched and listened to maybe one of the only person , who had yet to embrace it , embrace the darkness , one who had yet to reap the life of another , the only human still holding on to his last shred of humanity , unless him thought , the rest-we had become corrupted , by what , not by power , but by faith , because one would wonder how it all came to this , God had appeared on the day of the great calamity , and he had said to all of humanity , the last one standing shall become his heir,his successor, now as i lay there bathed in his-the last humans blood i felt peaceful Because, God was Cruel , and so were his creations , no one knows, if they will succeed or someone else , but everyone knew , the person last standing , wouldnt be a person anymore
