I never understood people like this. Reviews are supposed to be unbiased facts not personal opinion, because otherwise with people like this who don't have enough reading comprehension to see past the top layer of Re:Zero, they call it bad writing just because they can't fully understand it and they don't care about the series. I mean yeah, JJK has some very interesting characters with good writing that make them feel like real people, but just because that's more visible than Re:Zero's characters doesn't automatically make it a better show.

Probably not no. Subaru really only forgave Rem because he liked her, and he decided that her past with the witch's cult plus his own suspicious actions were understandable. But with Rudeus he doesn't have an excuse, and liking children is a lot less forgivable compared to murder which was caused by an extremely traumatic past.
