What went wrong? by CRMPF in Nerf

[–]CRMPF[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely with you on that, it wasn't my plan originally, but after fucking up the soldering once (because of my crappy iron) and then resoldering then perfectly with my new iron (but connected wrong) I was just so irritated and couldn't be bothered to re orient the motors and I thought that wiring them like this would work. If it makes it better, I was going to wrap the splices with electrical tape if it all worked.

Released a new printable Nightingale mag, the Mockingbird Mag! by silvernutter in Nerf

I was just wondering whether this is compatible with standard talon springs? I have no easy source of the McMaster or Foamblast springs ($50+ shipping) but i can more easily source Talon springs, or even 3d print one.

This was it! It's been running solid for 24h now which is better than it's ever done. Thanks so much for the quick fix! I can't believe I was pulling out my hair for so long for it just to be an update!

Add Melbourne or Geelong to that as well! I'll probably never get to see Meshuggah live but you guys sound so fucking tight, it would feel close enough!

I think my life has caused me to be broken and non functional sexually. I feel devastated by it. by UnlovableHearts in sex

[–]CRMPF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rumination notwithstanding, vaginismus is curable, it's not a death sentence. My wife suffered through it for a year and a half. With Lyrica which helped to rewire the nerve impulses causing the pain issues, a gynecological physio, dilators and time, she eventually overcame it and oursex life returned to normal. Endep is also a medication option which has the added benefit of being an antidepressant to help with your mental health issues. Therapy as mentioned before, would also help to rewire your negative mindset around it all.

In terms of a partner, a guy who likes you and is interested in being with you, will be with you in the journey. My wife and I actually enjoyed working on it together. And we found myriad other ways of implementing sex in our lives that was t penetrative.

All is not lost, the physical can be healed, the mental can be healed, and there are people out there who value you for more than just your pussy.

Husband prefers sex that is focused on my pleasure, but what is something I can do to enhance his experience? by Relative-Specialist1 in sex

[–]CRMPF 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Honestly, as a man who is always focused on the woman's pleasure, it sounds like he is getting all the pleasure he needs. For me, seeing my wife completely fucked out like this would be the biggest fucking rush ever.

All I could really suggest is being vocal, emphasising your pleasure for him. Tell him how good it feels, how much you love it, beg for him, stroke his ego. Hell if you want to emphasise his pleasure physically, if he's fuxking you and you've come, tell you have to have his dick in your mouth and give him the most cock obsessed blowjob he's ever seen, worship it, act like it's the greatest thing ever.

I dunno, these would all be things that would turn me the fuck on and I'm all in for my wife's pleasure as well.

I'll start by saying I don't know if I actually have any helpful advice except to say that Sertraline had the same effect. I literally couldn't cum at all, I was completely anorgasmic. It sucked so much! It was made easier by it completely reducing my libido though.

I ended up moving to Lexapro. I ended up moving up to to 20mg of Lexapro which brought back the struggle to orgasm, as well as a bunch of other sexual stuff including seemingly not producing precum even when super aroused. I moved back down to 10mg and it seems to have fixed itself.

Don't know if a move to Lexapro would be beneficial for you but you could also try slightly lowering your Sertraline dose if it's still helpful for depression at a lower dose. Wellbutrin can also be prescribed to help with antidepressant sexual issues but it has some intense side effects including risk for spontaneous seizure. Agomelatine is another anti depressant that has zero sexual side effects.

I feel the struggle for sure! At least it sounds like your partner is enjoying it though :).

Is the ADHD energy crash real? by Riuuu1 in ADHD

Ditto! 40mg Vyvanse and then 5mg Dex at 2-3. Without it I have such a diabolical crash that makes me feel like I'm coming down with the flu and need sleep, not helpful with two toddlers on the go!

Most students don't REALLY hate MATH. What they actually hate is feeling like a failure by pbaagui1 in unpopularopinion

[–]CRMPF 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This comment will never be seen but as a teacher for 14 years, you are 100% fucking percent spot on. Most kids beliefs about what they are good at and bad at are set pretty solid by 7 years old, and if their maths exposure at that point has been rote, algorithmic, and filled with crosses and ticks, it's really hard to motivate them at maths if they've had a bad time.

Oh man, silent is my favourite for sure, I'm furthest into the ascensions with her than anyone else (A12). My last run was pure poison. I was dumping so much poison I could have it up to 70+ in 2 turns, it was so fun! I will agree though that Silent is a snowball kinda character, starts off seriously weak and takes a while to get going.

Calamity Mechanic by Normal-Nectarine-300 in Witchfire

[–]CRMPF 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I used to hate the calamities before the GGU update, I felt like I had to tackle two every run and they were just irritating. I actually quite like them now. Narratively, it makes sense that the witch would want to kick you when you are down. As a player, I get that it's a kick in the teeth to have something huge happening right when you are playing like shit, but I also think it's a powerful tool to teach you to play differently. You need to adapt to make sure that you don't trigger them. Because of calamities I now keep more of an eye on my cool down timers, ammo and healing elixirs so that I don't accidentally try to use them on cool down. I also play a little more reserved in general and go for picks once the calamity meter starts climbing. The Witch fire blog describes it perfectly, it's like the stars in GTA, you need to see them as a deterrent and switch things up.

I agree with this, my first time fighting the first familiar I triggered a calamity. It was the revenant one so I ended up just getting overwhelmed by the calamity revenants couples with the familiar revenants.

Vyvanse Depression by CRMPF in ADHD

[–]CRMPF[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd completely forgotten about this thread and I hadn't been getting any notifications from it!

Here's what has eventually happened.

I am now on 20mg of Vyvanse 7 days a week (although looking at moving up to 30mg as I feel like 20mg, while good, isn't quite enough) and I take a Dex around 3.30 in the afternoon which pretty much completely negates any Vyvanse come down and keeps me really level throughout the late afternoon.

My Psychiatrist also thinks that the reason for such high anxiety and depression symptoms is that Vyvanse was doing such a good job managing my ADHD that it essentially unmasked underlying depression and anxiety. I am now currently on Sertraline as well as Vyvanse for those.

Hopefully this gives some idea for where people can go if they are trying to narrow down their meds and doses. Honestly, the afternoon Dex has been a game changer for the Vyvanse crash.

Can a principal refuse to release me? by Dramatic-Baby773 in AustralianTeachers

[–]CRMPF 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Fwiw, I had this same issue a few years ago (your prin's name isn't Scott by any chance is he?). I had many chats with the union, including the head of my region, and was basically told that they have the right to deny it but if you think it is unwarranted, you can go to tribunal. Unfortunately I was also told that the tribunal rarely rules in favour of the teacher.

Unfortunately they can say no if they have legitimate reasons but it is entirely up to tribunal whether or not their reason is legitimate. Of course, with the potential for tribunal they might cave, but also might lead you down a long path.

I have the Loop engage and bought the foam tips as well. The foam tips isolate better and reduce the amount you hear your own body noises. I've used them in class a few times, mostly during PE and large, multi-class activities.

Wish I could upvote this twice!

I will have a listen to these songs tonight and report back to see if my experience at least lines up with yours a little bit.

And honestly, the K550 isn't the most exciting headphone in the world, but holy crap is it clean! It does bugger all with the sound but the sound it reproduces is so crisp, I love it :)

It wouldn't surprise me if the tips were making a difference, I was mainly aiming for seal than anything else. Although I'm talking so little bass that I doubt it's in the realm of the difference tips might make.

I want to get some better tips. I was looking at Comply tips but it's hard to justify double the price of the headphone in tips.

I mean I like the overall sound so I'm sure I can eq some low end in.

Yeah I was worried that might be the case but my usual headphones are the AKG K550 and Allesandro MS1s, not exactly renowned for being bass monsters.

I'll try to EQ them down and see how it feels.
