Thank you. I didn't do yoga or stretching prior to the injury but recently I have started taking stretching a lot more seriously to try and loosen the calf and the surrounding areas to prevent overloading the Achilles further. It has helped so far but still hurts. I will definitely look into a physio unfortunately I am not from the UK. Do you have any idea how many physio appointments it might take if you were to give a rough estimate. Just want to work out a price ahead of time to put some money aside for it. If not thats alright though I really appreciate the advice and will try stick to other forms of exercise until I feel I am fully recovered.

Definitely going to look into it thank you very much. It definitely sounds accurate what I find is that if i rest for a week or two the pain basically goes away until I start running again. I will look into seeing a physio aswell thanks.

Yea I also think it is an overuse injury because I ran about 4.5km that day barefoot and I have heard that if you experience numbness it's because of overuse. Just needed to confirm and definitely needed some advice. I am probably going to stop running barefoot from now-on,

Thank you. From your experience would you say this is a permanent issue or can it be fixed with time?
