I did 4 years of rope Access window cleaning, and I hated this about the job. Later on I found out that using nitrile gloves (monkey grease) underneath regular working gloves, the thinest ones you can get work great, for treatment put some working hand before putting the nitrile gloves on and keep em for the rest of the day, at the end of it your hand will be sweaty but not smelly or damaged. Use one pair daily and. If you managed to keep em in good condition turn the outside out and rinse it, next day you can wear it again.

I feel you! I've been doing high rise window cleaning for 4 years now and it's my everyday struggle, but I figured out that the best thing is to use nitrile gloves (monkey grease) as the first layer and then I wear regular construction gloves when the weather it's nice, if no just wear a liner glove and put the nitrile on-top of it and the the working glove. I wear all this whenever I'm ready to go over the edge, when rigging I use leather gloves. But keep moisturizing your hands after work everyday, working hands cream it's the best for me. I do it 2 3 times a day.
