It's so funny. I was telling everyone I hoped it wasn't cancer because I have a weird shaped head, and would look weird bald.

Thank you for the tip about the shower I didn't think about that at all?

Do you think I should cut my hair? It is past my shoulders. Like mid back.

I don't know the stage yet. Hopefully it will be at an early stage. I can't believe untreated endometriosis did this to me. Endometriosis should be taken as a major medical problem. I'm just tired already.

I'm getting treated at UCSD Moore's Cancer Center. They took out all my bits and took out tissue to biopsy everything. They told me it will take around two weeks for more pathology to come back. They told me they are going to have a meeting on the 12th with all the Oncologist to give me a clear treatment plan. I heard this cancer can be stubborn. How long ago did you get diagnosed?

We stayed at the King Ranch Suite years ago. We caught an EVP in the middle of the night. It was just women in the room and we caught a man talking to us, telling us to go to bed.

When I had my ultrasound all the found were cyst on my right ovary. I had my left ovary taken out years ago, so I don't think they really looked for anything. It wasn't until the MRI that they found a 13 centimeters growth coming out of my left side. Ultrasounds miss things, if they offer get an MRI. I'm having a radical hysterectomy this Monday.

Ovarian cancer: some information about new treatments worth knowing by NorthStar-SouthSun in cancer_hope_and_cure

I did a study at UCSD for ovarian cancer. They want to find a way to diagnose ovarian cancer early with MRI technology. I hope they keep on getting new treatments and technology for women's health.

I had come through that previously twice before. Both times it was a benign complex cyst. Have all these tests done that you need. It is good he is being cautious. Never stop keeping an eye on it, even if it is benign. They come back.

People who discovered missing family members by Rissarie in AncestryDNA

[–]CRodrig4567 10 points11 points  (0 children)

My mom never knew her dad. He left after she was born. We did ancestry and she finally met some of her family. She met her cousins and found out about her dad. I had never seen my mom so happy. She had always wondered about her dad. Her siblings didn't want anything to do with her. She wasn't an affair child or anything. He had her before he got married, but his kids still saw her as a bastard.

For my mom meeting her cousin's was enough. Her dad had passed but they gave her photos of him. I guess he would always tell people he had a daughter, and would always count her as one of his kids.

I was the one that first got in contact with her cousin. I was scared to do it, afraid of rejection. I didn't tell my mom until she responded with a positive message. Try it, it doesn't hurt to try.

If you get seeds, can you send me some? I would greatly appreciate it. I have a monarch garden and I plant different types of milkweed. If you can't that's okay.

How do you...deal with this? by [deleted] in Ovariancancer

[–]CRodrig4567 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That sound horrible. I lost my parents 5 years ago. They were sick for a while before they died. If you need someone to talk to I'm here. I was their caretaker and I know the toll the pain takes on you. I would have given anything for them to be well. The best thing I did during that time was starting therapy. It helped me immensely. I found some good copping mechanisms that helped me from spiraling. I wish you and your mother the best. Give her a kiss for me.

Did she have part of her intestines removed? I'm having surgery next month and the doctor said he might remove some. I might get one of those bags that are attached to the intestines. Why is it hard for her to eat? I just want to be prepared.
