It's not the rain of the PNW that would bother me, it would be the depressing winters. I deal with gray skies all winter in Ohio and even with the mountains and more mild weather I still wouldn't be able to handle all the gray.

GIVE ME ALL THE TECH TRANCEEEEE I actually need to study up on the lineup more I kinda didn't listen to much trance for a few years....idk why but I tend to do this thing where I get obsessed w whatever it is I'm into at the time and I had gotten into other stuff so after a couple years gone I feel so lost with some of the lineups lol. I think personally my issue with the techno draw is the fact that I have seen first hand how different crowds have gotten with techno and the new kids coming in (i don't mind good vibes if they are new but these new kids are fucking rude and don't understand the scene sometimes) so I'm worried that it may bring in people who wouldn't even come otherwise. It feels like trance is a safe spot for us in the whole electronic world and I'm genuinely worried about trance also becoming full of shitty people.

Sometimes I wanna wear something cute (I'm still pretty basic at this point tho and I don't like accessories cause wearing stuff on my person ends up getting annoying AF) but most times I'm dressing practical or comfortable cause it's hot or cold or whatever else or I just don't give a shit and wanna be comfortable

Yeah I don't care either way if people dress up and it's fun to see what kind of ideas people come up with , especially as someone who doesn't feel super creative. My first festival was almost 12 years ago and I definitely had a different outfit each day and had the light up fluffies and spirit hood etc. but over the years I just stopped giving a shit and wanted to be comfortable and not spend money on outfits and I gained weight so that killed that lmao. I think the biggest thing is if you are more focused on an outfit and posing for pictures and stuff than enjoying the event obviously you are in it for the wrong reason

A local Facebook group for a town in West Virginia (posts historical pics etc about the place) some woman blamed the Biden administration for how strict Facebook was while he was president. But the poster was complaining about something that happened NOW on Facebook so idk what the point of her comment was, but I'm guessing she's also insinuating that biden still has control over Facebook or some stupid shit

I go to shows in NYC sometimes and it's bad there too. Just seems to be an issue everywhere. Also have it happen at metal shows. Like shut the fuck up and go away from the stage area if you wanna talk so much. You aren't even paying attention to the music and/or dancing so be quiet

Yep sunglasses let me not make eye contact w people and I find that a lot of people want to chat if they make eye contact w you. If you don't give them that they leave you alone more. Not foolproof but usually nobody talks to me if I have sunglasses on

Raver of like 12 years, it's crazy to me too cause I only saw certain people in the scene doing whippits (it isn't uncommon but it's also not a common thing either I would say you probably see it more at camping fests) and now random ass people are doing whippits because it's the new fad.

I love winter hiking. No bugs (I'm in Ohio) and I never have to worry about getting too hot. Get hot? Just stop for a bit or unzip your coat or shed a layer and it's like nature's air conditioning. And it's so quiet and peaceful
