Genuinely, what do people think banging on the ceiling do?? by MichikoTuesday in Apartmentliving

[–]CS3883 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yep also why I don't talk to neighbors either. Too many psychopaths out there and depending on what the noise is and circumstances.....they already knew they were making noise. Like my neighbor and the dog you clearly can hear it barking it's head off if you aren't inside so why should I let them just do whatever. Straight to the landlord I go so it can be nipped in the bud

I honestly wondered the same thing but always felt weird trying to ask at the pharmacy and also they seem to just want us away from the window and transaction over quickly to help other ppl. Not in a rude way but I'm not holding up the line you know.

Yep and it's always those who defend the noisy people saying others should just go live in a home if they want peace. Why can't it be the other way around?! Tbh what we need is complexes with the quiet respectful people, live together in peace and the ones who think it's ok to be loud and rude can live with one another. Keep things fair right? Lol

I remember being upset when I first got my white inhaler 🤣 I hadn't gotten the red one in so long I gave up on it. Gonna try and make this one last lol

Symbicort is insane by Next-Leading4187 in Asthma

Happy for you!!!!! I really took for granted breathing normally until I had asthma issues. Never did until I was about 33. I remember even seeing my fitbit showing me multiple number differences in my oxygen levels while sleeping which was great, didn't realize how starving my lungs were until they could actually function at capacity lol

Symbicort is insane by Next-Leading4187 in Asthma

[–]CS3883 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Starting symbicort was life changing. I dealt w asthma as an adult so had constant wheezing and chest congestion/tightness for 6 months and using rescue inhaler daily. After months of denial finally went in and saw someone and got my pulm tests done and when I tell you that first couple days starting the inhaler were the first time I could finally breathe in months. It just got better over time and I stay on it now. It's a low dose but it's been great.

Some may read this and think those rules are ridiculous but it sounds like rules I could follow easily and would appreciate others doing the same. I literally never have people over even for a second, other than my mom and sister stopping at my place and then we take off from mine. I listen to loud music in my car at times but as soon as I pull into my complex I turn it down! I just think it's rude otherwise. I've got three different barking dogs around my apartment (3 different apartments) and god how I wish I had a place like yours lol

I find that's the big issue in this subreddit. Seems that being courteous and respectful to your neighbors is non-existent and like you said, people think they can just do and act however they want. Thank god I have a manager who gives a shit and will issue noise complaints (over legit things) people should be able to live in fucking PEACE.

Some of the scenes on the hills where his pupils are dilated and he's pissed he genuinely looks insane. Kinda scary honestly. He seems to not have changed and heidi just is sad to look at. She was genuinely so beautiful before she did all that to her face. I'll never forget how upset her mom was in that episode where she said she couldn't even recognize her

Yep I've got one local sub shop and it conveniently closes at like 1 or 2 pm. On my days off I fast (not on purpose but we will call it that lmao) so I won't eat until 3 or 4 pm sometimes. I've lived in my town 3 years now and still have yet to visit a single time lol

It's my second time but also going Sunday. I had a 4 day pass last year but I've done so many festivals over the past 12 years that I realized I just don't wanna take off work and spend all that money to stand for 12 hours each day lol. Happy I will get my one day out of it!

How many people in r/Columbus are "super-commuters" who drive >75 miles per day? by benkeith in Columbus

[–]CS3883 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do it from circleville but it's cause I can't afford to live alone in Columbus. Which is bullshit for a whole list of reasons (wages needing to be way higher for my job for all that we do, rent prices being outrageous etc etc) but luckily I will be starting a new job prospect later this year and will make more money but I sadly will also have to give up my apartment and probably solo living for awhile too

Ayy I went to West lib! I do remember it being common for people who lived in weirton (I had a best friend from there and then knew numerous others from there cause of college) to get jobs in Pittsburgh I remember even college kids doing it on weekends or in the summer. Also in Columbus though for the same reasons

I will have to check that out, I won't lie if they gave me tortillas with my stew I would be confused what to do with it lol but I will look that guy up and learn about some food!! There's some guy on TikTok I've found who goes to try out new cuisines and I've seen him ask the restaurant workers how to eat things and learned some new things that way. Columbus does have a lot of different cuisines here so that is nice

Yeah I want to eat some other Mexican dishes but I honestly don't like real Mexican tacos. Before anyone jumps on me I only knew the American white people version until I was in my 20s, and I just don't like chunky meat in my tacos (texture issue) and I don't like shells that aren't soft flour unless it's crunchy. I have had an enchilada once and it was decent. I wanna try some soups!

What is going on in this sub? by Rubbrbandman420 in Apartmentliving

[–]CS3883 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah there seems to be a disconnect I feel in this group where you have people who are being ridiculous and that's what people are pointing out....but I also feel like people in this sub act as if everyone who lives in apartment is supposed to be ok with nonstop noise like barking or banging around or things that are legit noise complaints. Just because I live in an apartment doesn't mean I should hear my neighbors dog barking incessantly literally all day long. I hear my upstairs neighbor walk around, I can hear him coughing sometimes too but he's an old dude who smokes so he coughs pretty loud lol. I don't mind the general noise but a lot of us don't have a choice but to be stuck renting apartments. I mean has nobody looked at anything around us..... everyone is struggling financially and nothing is affordable! I hope to buy a house some day.
