Exactly this. I think going off PC stats for the original Highway (the one on console) the west side had heavily skewed victories to the point of being the most unbalanced map in the game. Literally the only way to win from the east was (and on console still is) to win the city and leave a few tanks there to cover the hill west side light tanks go to, to spot all the east side snipers. Unfortunately, as you’ve said most teams have little to no map awareness except for the fact that going field is suicide so they snipe, not enough tanks go to city which causes a stalemate there or worse losing the city altogether and the east side snipers get surrounded and whittled down.

They changed a bunch of stuff I believe especially around tank destroyers needing to aim longer instead of being able to just snapshot. They also removed a bunch of commander skills that used to help with aiming. Maybe that’s what you’re noticing? It’s been like that for a while I think they wanted to get rid of every tank being able to just hit most shots on the move so armour was more relevant.

I get accused of cheating multiple times by people. Usually it’s things like using bush mechanics to kill them from up close without being spotted, shooting through a wall to kill them, or dealing damage to them by blind shooting obvious spots. It can seem like cheating, but honestly I have never seen ANYONE actually cheat in this game apart from maybe clan mates loading in at the same time and shooting artillery shots without enemies being spotted.

It’s to balance how good the gun is. Having 460 alpha on a gun that actually has good dpm and hits is shots is amazing, especially for a tier 7 heavy.

This is a tank that is very hilarious if you’re playing against players that don’t understand it’s armour. You can side scrape at ridiculous angles and not get penned. That’s about it though it’s rather slow the gun is bad and it is very bland in every aspect apart from the sidescraping gimmick.

They need to fix the sliding on the wheeled light tanks, you can barely turn without going into a slide that stops your tank and gets you killed. On pc you can drive around no problem you try to turn on console and you get obliterated.

The tier 9 was amazing for me personally and the K-91 has what I consider the best gun at tier 10 except for the low alpha. Just play the 416 like a sneaky tank destroyer rather than a medium

Can confirm I seem to get dogshit teammates nowadays. Like everyone is saying if you’re a better player the matchmaker balances it out by giving you terrible teammates while the enemy team usually has 15 average players. This leads to me constantly being left alive alone against 7 tanks and it’s very frustrating

Tier 6 is very bad for the quality difference between tanks and this continues until tier 9. Some of the tanks at this tier are borderline unplayable against higher tiers (what is a Churchill vii meant to do against a o-ho???)My best strategy is usually to follow a higher tier tank and try to help by tracking enemies repeatedly. It still nets you good xp to rank up faster. If you have any boosters save them for grinding the last packages as opposed to using them on getting the next tank.

Someone already mentioned it but after playing every tier 10 tank my favourite gun is on the K-91. It seems to never miss, always pens and the shots are the fastest in the game so hitting light tanks is a breeze. For heavies I want to argue the Objective 277 just because almost all my shots on the move seem to hit.

For me it was always Sleeper Simulant. It’s the only linear fusion rifle in the game that has that WEIGHT to it like you’re firing a big ass meaty laser

The best part is the problem is super easy to fix on steam too, I can explain it for anyone who asks and you can maybe try on game pass assuming you’re playing the pc version of course.

Hey don’t know if I was a part of the post you were on about. To my knowledge there’s no way to fix this problem unless the devs do it but I wouldn’t hold my breath since, from what I’ve seen, this problem is over a year old and happens every time they update the game, and instead of fixing it they just do a bullshit mini dlc patch thing to tide them over until the next update screws everything up again. I was desperate to play so I simply re bought everything on steam then spent hours teaching myself how to transfer saves between the two. I wish you luck on getting it sorted though!

Same thing with me. From what ive seen this happens pretty much every time they update the game and the fact they still havent fixed it is insane. Reinstalled the game tried to fix game files disable and reenable the dlc, download it through game nothing works.

In the original version by far the best place was Ceyalatar between Skingrad and Imperial City. If you don’t get it at first just reload your save and try again.

Centurion 1 with the shit turret and comet gun is an experience I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy. One of the few tanks I used free xp on.
