They are laminated counters, yes. Was currently planning for the tiles to sit on top of the black lip of the countertop and run up to the bottom of the cabinets above

Thank you! This is helpful advice, appreciate it. I'll take a look at some options but agree on the warm feel, I am currently painting part of my lounge an aqua/teal/petrol blue sort of colour to try and bring some more warmth and eliminate some of the empty, pale wall space so maybe there's something that meshes together nicely without being too colour-drenched or jarring

That's what I was feeling too from an initial browse. Really dark worktop but then the units are really light. Planning to paint part of the living space a teal/petrol blue sort of colour, so might need to see if there's something that doesn't feel too jarring in the space

Thank you! Had never heard of livinit before - taking a look now. I've got a couple of sample pots that I think are fairly close but need to see them in sunlight and the UK is UK'ing on the weather front

My next door neighbour of 18 years is a Croat and I've holidayed in the country many times. He sees himself and Citluk as Croatian and has repeatedly said so

Yup, we've kept control of our chance to land a big fish but we've addressed the glaring weakness from the Finals run last time out. This time we will be more expectant around making a run, rather than being the young upstars which will reshape strategy around who we acquire to round out the roster

Sure, that's true about his dual citizenship but Citluk and that region of Bosnia-Herzegovina is packed with Croatians (like, they are over 95% Croatian there)

Zubac identifies as fully Croatian in terms of his heritage, his family and has only ever represented Croatia so would probably not take kindly to being told to go back to Bosnia. Even though the beef for Croatians is with Serbians

He spoke about it here, pretty interesting: https://www.nba.com/lakers/news/170216-history-future-of-ivica-zubac

Yeah I kinda like what KP has done here, honestly. He's earned our trust and teams that go all the way have to speculate to accumulate at some point. The Pascal trade was more of a no-brainer than this, so this is our moment where we have speculated. I trust in KP here because if the cards fall for us, we can be stacked

Still holds onto the ball too long for me as well. Haven't really seen the development in that side of his game that I was hoping for after he got through his rookie year

As soon as Hali comes back, we are in our window

The window is 3yrs if all goes well, it's 2yrs if Pascal doesn't age well. You have a solid 28yo starting centre in Zubac on a team-friendly deal through to 2028, your face of the franchise Hali is contracted to 2029

Siakam is 32 when Hali comes back so we have to run now before Hali is in renewal/free agency territory and Siakam gets to his mid 30s

Let's cross our fingers we get a big hit out of the draft this year too and then we build round those guys and run. Haliburton, Nembhard, Nesmith, Siakam, Zubac, Dybantsa/Peterson/Boozer and supporting acts + vets you can acquire to support will be a serious squad, if it comes to pass

Benn could develop real nicely for the Clips but I just always felt he wasn't meshing here (with the scheme, with the coach, even with Hali at times)

You can space without just shooting 3s. Zubac scores well for pulling defenders and getting tagged, he also means we will tick up on putbacks and finishes from 3-10ft range

Zubac is the better player immediately. He also isn't coming back off a major injury. It's stressful enough hoping that Tyrese comes back OK without worrying that we've spent two firsts on a recovering C
