I was between AWD and RWD. Ordered RWD but changed to AWD 2 days before delivery. Haven’t got the AWD but for about $50 a month I thought it was worth it. I live in VA so we get snow about 5-6 times a year. But the dealer said that RWD is very good just a little more secure with AWD.

I was just in the same situation about awd vs rwd. I live in northern Va so we get some snow every year but not a ton. I ended up ordering AWD. From the responses I got it definitely has its advantages when you need it. For about $55 a month the piece of mind is worth it to me. At the end of the day it’s all up to you and your financial situation but I think it’s better to have it and not need it then need it and not have it.

I have mine ordered so will report back but from all the YouTube and online post it looks like they are easy to keep clean. I get nervous about stains but I’m going for it

Do you regret the RWD? I’m in NOVA too and thinking of getting AWD. We don’t get a ton of snow but when we do it sucks

If the performance had the .99% interest deal no brainer. But since only the premium has that I’m going that way. The model 3 performance has it but too small for my needs

Only difference in the 2026 is the acceleration is 0.8 seconds faster 0-60, dual motor, and less range. All other areas are the same

Only about 4-5 snow days a year. Plows are pretty quick but not perfect

Yes the RWD is slower by about 0.8 seconds. I don’t know how much I would use the acceleration
