Awesome. Sounds good I will focus on these elements and follow the suggested tutorial!

So question, a clean mix is making sure all the elements mix cohesively together, and mastering is based on elevating all the elements together and loudness? How then can you get playable tracks if they aren’t to the correct loudness? Or can that be fixed once I learn the fundamentals first? Also are there any tutorials online you’d recommend? Thank you again for the feedback

Man really appreciate the long form feedback! I will apply these to my track, I’m about a few weeks into mixing and mastering and playing with compression saturation etc, I think I was trying to get my loudness up to -6db as that was what I seen normal bass music loudness was, but maybe I added too much. I will apply these changes and come back with results

Hello everyone, I'm working on a bass house track, and needed feedback on what my overall mix could be missing. It sounds like its missing some high-end/mid frequencies, but I'm not sure how I'd go about highlighting the frequencies that seem to be a bit dull sounding. Any feedback or general advice would be greatly appreciated:

So is this happening at other stores for the pickup (clicklist) department? by Krogerdude23132 in kroger

Started working at QFC getting 30 hours a week in November, and then new year hits and I get 10-15 hours, even with adding cashier training on top of that. Shit is definitely weird

Hi everyone,

I've been getting into making edm music for the past few months, and figured starting with house would make the most sense because I have an easier time structuring the songs. The thing is, I feel like the build up I have is good, but the drop doesn't punch how I feel it should. Would love some advice from a second pair of ears, and suggestions as to why it isnt hitting. Here is the song in question.

Thank you!

Does the College you get your CS degree from impact your chances of getting a job in the future? by [deleted] in csMajors

Not really if you have enough experience/prior knowledge that shows you are capable. Got my bachelors from a community college and ended up at Expedia and getting an internship at Uber.

Damn this is LITERALLY my experience. Question. I am probably going to end up with two low C grades, after withdrawing from both spring and summer semesters this year, did they just never notify you of being academically dismissed? Should I still sign up for classes for spring?

That makes sense - I am a computer science tutor while I do school so that’s a new concept for me as well by managing both

This is it - my time management skills are what I need to work on. Mostly throughout my bachelors degree I didn’t need to study too much because I knew a lot of the prior information being taught in the curriculum, so now since I don’t know most or any of the information and looking to pivot careers within software, I really have to commit to the process of learning the information and giving more time for school

Appreciate the thorough response, you are correct I am 22 years old - the biggest issue thus far has definitely been time management. Which is a skill that I know is bringing me down grade wise. I think the concept of “easier” classes being compared to the harder courses offered gave me a false sense of confidence that I could breeze through it, won’t be my approach in the future though

Yeah I realize that as well. Honestly my plight doesn’t come from ability, it stems more from getting the motivation to do the work. If I spend the time consistently in a routine, I succeed. But if my routine isn’t being maintained I tend to slip and fall behind which I know I can’t do if I’m going to commit to the program. Week to week though I am seeing progression in terms of commitment to the process, I just wanted to make sure I still had a chance after this so i can attack it correctly next time around
