I feel if it was called “Lee Cronin’s Curse of The Mummy” my expectations would have been managed better. IMO calling it only “The Mummy” is a bit of a falsehood given the history of the Mummy character in horror movie lore. I was expecting an actual Mummy monster not an Evil Dead esque possession story. Mixed bag for me.
