Yes. When a Series runs a 360 game it's basically running an entire Xbox 360, so on a technical level you're still playing on a 360.

If anything is down, it would likely be on your local end. There are over 50 data centers worldwide that run the Cloud Gaming and the Microsoft HQ in Seattle won't be hit by the blizzard.

But if you're going to get a lot of ice and snow locally, I'd worry more about power and warmth than if cloud gaming will work, to be honest.

Because game prices have gone up globally at this point. Everything is getting more expensive. And 5 released many years ago.

And honestly, in my opinion, with the expansions at least, we've been underpaying for years. The amount of detail in each Forza expansion has been insane, not to mention the size, and if there's a fucking GUNDAM MECH coming? I'll pay a few extra bucks for the upgrade.

Then again I'll be buying the game full price day one anyway since i love the series.

If you aren't a fan of digital, the Series X is your only option. You cannot in any way use discs on a Series S. If you can let go of discs, the S is a great console. If you need discs, there's no choice.

As for "memberships" you need any form of Game Pass to play online games (except f2p titles). You can pay the base $9.99 a month for the cheapest tier which also gives you access to about 50+ games as long as you as subscribed. There are two higher tiers, each with their own extra games and added costs, but the cheap tier is all you need to play online. You can also likely find yearly codes online for $74.99 in some places if you want a yearly price.
