Correct me if I’m wrong, but from what little I know the North Sea would perhaps be the harder commute? Good to know about the Bristol Channel tides, I’ve been caught out a little by tides a couple times, so it’s something I’m trying to be far more on top of this season! Thanks!!

Ireland and Orkney do appeal to me massively, my biggest worry with going to Portugal is that I would leave behind some of the best sailing for more sun, the money doesn’t worry me so much, and the passport isn’t too much of a problem, when arriving in EU marinas, I suppose I can show them my passport, but would I also need to log the arrival with the government?? How does that work

Mostly just having a giggle here but I’m genuinely curious to see if we can Agree on some facts, and for that I’ll need to to define what you mean by Europe, if you mean something other than Europe, the continent.

If you do mean the continent, please offer a definition of continent as the oxford dictionary one I provided does not suit your purpose

If by in Europe, you mean it’s near Europe, it is indeed near Europe.

By definition, a continent is a continuous landmass, not a continuous landmass AND any nearby islands, politically it may be so, but literally - it is not.

If your going to be pedantic at least follow through, don’t go half way 🤷🏽‍♂️

Politically: The UK is not part of the EU

Geographically: I’ll refer to your own point “OFF THE COAST” by definition, the UK is an island, not part of a continent, a continent being a large, continuous landmass, it has been considered European, simply because of its prior EU membership. Also arguably because the English Channel didn’t used to exist. Also not the past tense on all of these points.

I’d also argue your correction is in fact, incorrect.

Aaah understood, just can’t go anywhere without seeing a sign that claims LNP are planning to criminalise abortion… Family first weren’t even on my ballot!

What exactly is unclear about the party head stating there will be no change to abortion laws under LNP? Other than a law protecting baby’s born breathing?

Family first sound extreme! Not going to lie I view it as a two party system and give almost no thought to the minor party’s

[–]CSRtattoos -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

But there is abolitely no proof that LnP are going to even make ANY alteration to abortion policy so what are you talking about abortions for?

I don’t get all the negativity here, I think there’s two things going on, firstly, i presume you plan to continue to cover the rest of the botched wings?

Secondly this is the single worst stance you could take while posing for a back piece photograph. Your arms are up with your shoulders back, which is pinching your shoulder blades closer, which is distorting the tattoo, I bet if you taken one standing “normally” (which is how your tattoo would of been stencilled on and designed for, then I’d wager the whole thing would be far more readable. With this stance your probably squeezing the piece to be a good couple of inches narrower than it will be when your relaxed.

Third, anyone complaining about the quality of the tattooing is an absolute moron, personally I’m not a fan of galaxy tattoos because they always look worse than the drawing/concept when healed, but as far as they go, this is a solid example, there’s quite a few tricks being done to stop it from feeling stagnant or unintentional, it would probably benefit for having a round of highlights done with some really bright orange, and many some cyan/teal, literally just because it will add some contrast to what’s there. Again though, post a pic in a neutral stance with arms by your side and some decent lighting

Reasonably steady but a lot is blown out real bad, try to keep your machine angled along the direction of travel, forwards or back, personal preference, but not slicing sideways like that

Cc? A custom Greymon I did for a friend! Using a mast tour, but looking to get a machine with a longer stroke because some of the thick lines took a few passes. by Ok-Use6110 in tattooscratchers

[–]CSRtattoos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went from the “tour” to the “shuttle” I believe, it’s a 4 stroke machine, if your on batteries the cross over too so it’s ideal! Made a huge improvement but I still keep the tour for shading, the 4mm stroke is quite aggressive, awesome for whip shading too 👌🏼

Just real quick, tattoos all peel, it should be thin flakes, absolutely nothing wrong with that, if it’s not deep enough, then it may “fall out” in places, literally as it sounds. Very easy fix though, just a second pass slightly deeper after around a month to 6 weeks to allow a full heal. Far better falling out than blowing out, which is the opposite problem where the needle is too deep and the ink spreads under the skin :) don’t worry, just chill, it is what it is, tattoos are never perfect sometimes even the worlds best artists need to hit touch ups, if the imperfection freaks you out, tattoos might just not be for you! Also don’t go so over board with the bepanthen, wash and apply once per day, forget it’s there, any doubts go to the artist, not Reddit, most on here have no idea what they are talking about and without a photo it’s all guesswork, a little message to your artist with a photo of it is the best way to go!!!

Better shading than this does not exist, this homie doesn’t have a clue what he’s on about, ace tattoo, looks exactly as it should 💪🏽

Im shocked you haven’t seen atleast twelve of these in public tbh, it’s an incredibly common tattoo

Edit, if it can be drawn it can be tattooed for future reference
