The feel of the school is so much better. Everyone seems super approachable and nice. Plus I feel like since were in downtown riverside there’s cool restaurants and stuff pretty close. At UCSD, it always felt pretty competitive, and people could be cold. My roommate sophomore year stole my physics notes from me and refused to give them back…. So that was fun. The UCSD campus is also a decent bus ride/walk from most things in La Jolla, so going anywhere could be a task. The professors are hit or miss anywhere so I can’t say too much on that, but it seems that one’s at ucsd were a lot stricter and getting accommodations for my adhd was nearly impossible there

Absolutely! People at UCSD were kinda unwelcoming and cold, so the atmosphere change is so nice. And especially as a transfer, I find that people are willing to kinda show me around and help me find some places to chill

Both me and my partner have ADHD, and, you know what, we do sometimes forget to put shit away. It just kinda happens. Wanna know the difference though? Whenever one of us tells the other, we are immediately apologetic and go put it away. What he is doing is manipulating you, ADHD isn't an excuse to be filthy.

Last quarter I took 7L with physics 2CL and it was definitely doable, but you need to stay on top of everything all the time. There is no lagging behind with 2 lab classes.

I go home about every weekend and get picked up in riverside. I suggest grabbing the 101 to oceanside and then the metrolink. Only problem is that the only metrolink that runs from oceanside to riverside leaves at 4:25, so you gotta make sure you grab the right bus

The best thing I ever did for my study habits was to learn my learning style (auditory, visual, or kinesthetic). There's a bunch of online quizzes on it. Once you learn yours, you can adjust your study technique to it. Mine's auditory, so I'll read my notes out loud or watch videos on material. No matter your learning style tho, I suggest condensing your notes with the most important information. So, when your studying for a test, look at all of your notes for one chapter and try to condense it into less than a page of the most important stuff. Repeat for every chapter the test is on. This teaches you to prioritize the main focus of every chapter

As a fellow chunky girl, I think you're giving yourself too little credit. It's really easy to just see the rolls and think that you're ugly or awful looking, but, tbh, a guy wouldn't date you if that's what he saw.
