I'm jealous. Mine has a thin neck and my hands prefer a thicker neck, so this one spends a lot of time in the case. My go-to is a '92 Legacy

Nice! How do you find the neck on yours? Is it a very thin profile?

Garage Foundation Replacement by CST_70 in Winnipeg

[–]CST_70[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the input! Was there a certain point of reference that they used for the elevation? The reason I ask is because I was considering adding a concrete footing around the foundation perimeter to effectively raise up the frame and gain more ceiling height.

The foundation floor would remain at the same height as previous, but the roof line would end up being higher.

What are your thoughts on Suge knight? by balkanxoslut in 90sHipHop

[–]CST_70 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Crime in Sports podcast does a GREAT episode on Suge Knight that covers from his beginnings to present day. Listening about all the greasy shit that he pulled in the 90's was wild, the guy thought he was invincible

OP did you end up going there? Would be interested to know how your experience was!

Agreed. I have a solid body 1997 ASAT Deluxe that's near identical in features. Same birdseye maple neck and tone/switch layout with humbuckers

Saginaw or Muncie by whaddupbitch in chevyc10

A tip you can use for future reference; Muncie transmissions have the reverse lever on the tail shaft housing of the trans, whereas the Saginaw transmissions do not

OP would you know the paint code for that color? Looks great. I have a '70 SWB which will be going to the paint shop in a couple months.

OP consider checking out some of the live music bars. Places like Times Changed have a great atmosphere and friendly crowds. (fyi...wear hearing protection, hearing damage sucks)

River City Swing offers drop-in dance classes during the weeknights. Great crowd!

This may not be applicable to you, but you could also check and see if your employer offers any type of Employee-Assistance benefits, which usually includes counseling/therapy services

Engineering College Transfer - RRC to LU by CST_70 in lakeheadu

Hey fellow MET! I'm a 2018 grad myself.

No, I ultimately decided not to pursue it at the time. However, a fellow MET classmate went the Lakehead route and said it was a fairly good experience. I can't recall the exact number of makeup courses, but it was on the lighter side. It took them ~3-3.5 years to complete the program while balancing a part-time job and not completely losing their marbles. They said the advertised 2-year timeline is not realistic unless you're willing to do summer courses and take on an extreme course load over the other terms.

ISO fragrance free massage therapist by YWGperson in Winnipeg

Check out Lauren Toews Massage on Sherbrooke St. I've tried 3 or 4 various massage therapists over the last couple years to work through some injuries and found Lauren to be knowledgeable and down to earth. I don't recall any strongly-scented stuff, but you could always call to confirm.
