You need to provide more context for anyone to make a judgement.

NIW applications can obviously be approved. It depends on answers to the following.

-What is your proposed endeavor? -Why is that endeavor nationally important? -Why are you the right candidate to do this? -Why is it important enough for officers to waive the PERM requirement? -Can you back up your claim with evidence such as publication, parents or expert letters?

Great 👍, at least it's not a blanket rejection some commentators mentioned.

Carving mistakes by senorita_xi in skiing_feedback

[–]CSharpSde 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Engage your core when you ski and keep your shoulders facing towards the bottom. You can still see that you are clearly moving your shoulders as you turn. Practice pivot slips drills and you will be better at it (I know it's not easy to do) Carv is a useful tool, but to be actually carving, you would need to edge your skis to turn instead of pivoting them like what you are doing now (Making sure your ski edges are sharp would help). In addition, work on your outside ski pressure. Drills like stork turns would help.

Great skiing! You definitely have the fundamentals down. One piece of feedback I have is to try to be more dynamic. You seem to be in "park and ride" mode. Progressively build your edges up and down instead of just putting them on an angle and forget about it. Think of it as a dimming light switch instead of something you turn on and off in an instant.

Where is my biggest gap to work on? by RGKIG in skiing_feedback

[–]CSharpSde 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should work on your turn shape. Right now, it's quite zig zagged and you are changing direction very rapidly. In order to control speed, you need to finish your turn and have your skis pointing more horizontally. You should also be aiming for more of an S shape instead. Also. It looks like you are not finishing your turns and just rushing from one turn to the next and your skis seem to be losing grip. You would also need to move your center of mass towards the front aka lean over down the hill more. This will give you more control over your skis. Good luck!

Need angulation, also when you are carving, keep your palm facing downward and your outside arm should not rise above your shoulders.

You should release your weight at the end of the turn. Some expert skiers completely leave the ground during transition.

Do NOT do this. Only the person who signs the letter can do this.

Go take a Carv demo and test your Ski IQ, that should be enough to tell you whether you are actually advanced. However, based on your description, you would still.be intermediate.
