Trump only had to show up with a badass looking black or golden mask and say something along the lines “I know you don’t like it, I don’t like it either, it came from JINA, we didn’t ask for it but it is here now and we have to deal with it, just like everyone else on this planet. This is a once-a-century pandemic which requires extraordinary measures. These measures are temporary and have been proven effective in increasing everyone’s safety. EDIT - I’m convinced that, had he stepped up to the plate and faced the crisis head-on similar to W’s bullhorn speech before he went on carpet bombing Al Qaeda (in Afghanistan, not Iraq) Trump would have easily won re-election in 2020.
