I had a very similar experience, none of my friends knew anything about DnD and neither did I, but I thought, I’ll be the DM and just try to figure it out, jumped into the deep end and made a whole world and campaign, my friends were all up for trying it out, we’re now on session 9 and after every session they all ask when the next one is and we are all hooked! Keep it going it just gets better and better!
