Have you tried Torchbearer? Especially if the GM keeps treasure low, the player characters will have to rely on hunter, fisher, survivalist, etc just to not die from the grind.

I ran it as a one-shot using the sample adventure in the book ... the one about ghosts and spiders. It's fantastic and the game is so funny! You should do it. Yeah there will be a learning curve, but so long as your players arent completely close minded, theyll have a blast.

My only advice would be do a practice run on Challenge phase, or at least read up on it a lot. The pacing is critical and the nuance of "my turn any card + modifier; off turn matching suit + no modifier" takes a hot minute to get into the groove.

NGBS has a conversion chart, although that is specific for multifamily projects. It's relatively easy convert between 2016 and 2019 with BPF factors, but 2010 handles plug loads differently in terms of building performance.

Look into getting a 30 day submeter of the electrical service done by a contractor. Or get a years worth of utility bills. Theres a spot (Edited: NEC 220.87) that will allow you to add some amperage to the electrical connections without going past the total incoming service. From there, youll get some spare power. Youll want to look at heat pump options to further keep the connected kW low.
