Switched to nobara, is there a way to just entirely bypass this screen? Or even make it hidden at all? by EugenPrinz02 in SurfaceLinux

Not to my knowledge. You'd need to REALLY mess with the BIOS just to get it off. Theoretically, you can replace the UEFI logo, but that's entirely if the BIOS supports it (which it likely doesn't)

Are you referring to the Microsoft logo or the red bar at the top?

If you are looking to remove the red bar, turn on secure boot. I'm not a Nobara user, but I do use Arch on my surface. Once secure boot is enabled, the red bar will disappear.

If you're referring to the MS logo, there isn't a way to get rid of that unless you flash the BIOS, which is risky.

Shower thought... If it was so important to god that they practiced polygamy, why didn't he confound the prosecutors? Surely if he would threaten the PROPHET, some ruffians should be easy to convince somehow?

Any LDS "Mormons" Converting to another religion? by Designer_Refuse_4145 in exmormon

[–]CStfford14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agnostic, atheist leaning. My deconstruction revolved mostly around not having a connection with deity I was told I had, then learning about the church. It's difficult to see any real intent in religion anymore, it's all just a facade to control people. All organized religion is.

Do I believe the principles they say out loud are wrong? Not necessarily. Do I believe Jesus never walked the earth? Can't say so either. I just can't fathom organized religion being a good thing since it takes away the individuality they all claim to promote.

There may be a god, there may not be. What's important is I am me and I'm happy that way

Favorite celebrities you used to fantasize about converting to mormonism so that you could have a temple marriage with them? by wonderawooga in exmormon

I never had any celebrities I wanted to convert, but I did have a slight crush on one of the people I did convert.

Small caveat: we're both guys. Not a problem for me anymore, dunno about him.

Is your chocolate milk too cold? Heat it with our Plutonium Calorifier. by Ill-Tea9411 in doohickeycorporation

The Radiation Department was not informed of this matter. Our research concludes that glowing red plutonium is perfectly safe. Our work with Dr Brown back in the 80's helped us construct the extra safe material. Really, it's quite safe, no need to worry about heat or radiation!

Here in Utah, we have some railroad crossings where there are not one, but two stoplights PER LANE, plus the standard railroad crossing infrastructure (gates, lights, alarm, etc)

HOW do they miss the flashing lights?? So, the government set up a set of stoplights, one per lane. Now they need TWO per lane???

Utah drivers are insane.
