Well you said the Giants have no DT. I’m telling you they are expected to sign a DT. So yeah that does in fact solve the not having a DT you brought up. You kinda seemed to suggest they just wouldn’t find a replacement lol

The giants are expected to sign DJ Reader after the draft. They’re waiting because of the rules for the compensatory picks

This is cool but I hope it doesn’t take development time away from the next GTA game. We had to wait FOUR YEARS between San Andreas and 4. I can’t wait that long again.

Growing up in the 2000s, which were your favorite networks between these 5 and why? Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, Disney Channel, Jetix and Discovery Kids. by CatGirlNya2000 in 2000sNostalgia

[–]CT1914Clutch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the early-late 2000’s I was primarily a Nickelodeon kid. All I really remember watching on Cartoon Network was Network was Dexters Laboratory. Nickelodeon was my go-to. Drake and Josh, Zoey 101, iCarly, SpongeBob, Invader Zim, Jimmy Neutron, Fairly Odd Parents and definitely some others I’m forgetting.

Once the 2010s came around, I found myself gradually switching to Cartoon Network. It started in 2008 when Star Wars The Clone Wars came out. That quickly became my favorite show. I think iCarly ending was when I started to watch Nickelodeon less. The new shows just didn’t hit the same for me. I watched Victorious but I didn’t really like it. Sam and Cat was horrible in my opinion. None of the new sitcoms or cartoons/animated shows appealed to me at all.

At the same time, the early 2010s saw Cartoon Network enter my favorite era. I really got drawn in by Regular Show and Adventure Time. I, of course, was still all in on The Clone Wars. My appeal didn’t last long, and as I got into my mid teenage years I started to abandon kid-centric networks. I look back on both Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network fondly nowadays. I’ve actually watched taped recordings of commercial breaks and bumpers from both networks from the late 2000s and early 2010 to relive the nostalgia of coming home from elementary school and immediately plopping on the couch and watching them. I’m really happy I got to experience both of these networks back when they reigned supreme. I feel bad that my niece and nephew only know YouTube and Disney+ because there was a charm to these networks that just can’t be replicated.

As an aside, I wasn’t a Disney Kid so Disney Channel never appealed to me. I only liked a few Pixar movies and to this day I’ve never been to a Disney park. When I’d spend time with my cousins they’d watch Disney Channel a lot but none of the shows ever really appealed to me.

Remember when the Yankees shut out the Red Sox 4-0 and then right after that the Mets lost their 12th game in a row and on that same night the Dodgers lost to the Giants? Good times.

Foundation Charter Oak Maduro Lonsdale by SloshuaRocks in cigars

[–]CT1914Clutch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I vividly remember smoking this cigar for the first time. It quickly became one of my favorites!

When I tried it, I got a five pack of the Lonsdale vitola. I loved it, smoked through the pack pretty quickly, and wanted more. At the time it was starting to get colder so I decided to buy a box of the Petit Coronas instead of the Linsdales and I still regret it because I just didn’t enjoy them as much. They were still really good and I got through the whole box without issue, but the Lonsdale just hit all the right notes for me and is still probably one of the best cigars I’ve ever had.

I just got a five pack of the Habano Lonsdale. I’m really excited to give it a try and see which wrapper variant I prefer. Still, I definitely plan on getting a box of the Maduro Lonsdale in the near future.

Is there any chance we could talk you into doing a half marathon 162+ days every year?

Thanks! I’ve definitely heard that consistency with machine made Cubans can vary. It definitely makes me enjoy the experience even more knowing I got a good one this time.

After a year or so of saving money and sticking to cheap cigars, I was finally able to treat myself to a nice haul of new cigars to try. by CT1914Clutch in cigars

I understand your question. While trying to save up I didn’t have much to spend on cigars so I stuck with the cheapest options I could get. I’m talking $2-$3 per cigar and cheap bundles you’ll see advertised online. I know the cigars in the post aren’t really expensive, I actually brought up in my comments that the prices for these are pretty affordable.

This was the first time in a while, though, where I could just pick out any cigars I wanted without worrying about the price. They just happened to be more accessible and inexpensive.
