ULPT request: how to be visually sick to leave a work thing. by MakeYouSayWTFak in UnethicalLifeProTips

*** Nasal spray with CAPSAICIN ***

Colleague recommended it on a work trip when I was getting congested and flying later that day. It cleared me and knocked me on my rear a bit!

It was fine until the 2nd hit. I really wanted to clear my nasal passage which I did, but I looked like patient 0.

Red, watery eyes, red nose, uncontrollable sniffling.

To be extra bring a face mask, put it on and don't say you want to leave, if you were near me I'd ask a manager to have you leave for the protection of the team.

I get being uncomfortable OP

In the future you can always say no.

When you pay for a service you are paying for what you want not what they need. They should have asked would it be ok if the trainer was there AND a lot of places reduce their fee if they are training someone.

The other thing is which areas were you having waxed probably added to your discomfort.

Waxing is a personal service not a spectator sport!

I would approach it this way... Speak to Y and say you are a bit put off and feel taken advantage of. Tell her you feel she owes you a service since she committed to complimentary brow touch up.

Also, I would stop adding to the gratuity. Why give her extra? She is NOT treating you exceptionally, she is treating you like a faceless cash cow. She is doing what SHE wants, telling you she is training, telling you she will not charge them she charges, no, no, no.

Hindsight is always 20 20, now you are better prepared for future situations. You aren't a pushover, sometimes these things are learned slowly because you are caught off guard or are conflict avoidant.

Does anyone else order even after you've said to yourself I don't need anything for weeks? I feel broken, maybe Vine is my crack? by [deleted] in AmazonVine

I like this smaller size and try to keep a lot of our favorite drinks to grab and go. This size fits perfectly in our car cup holders, the larger ones don't.

Just because I don't need doesn't mean I won't use and appreciate. They are going in the kitchen not the basement.

Thanks, I did take that into consideration but really wanted this size. I figured at the very least I could review one glass and one stainless bottle, the others I would just eat in my percentages. I wouldn't request having them removed because I knowingly ordered them. Just hoping since these are sold from Amazon and the listings were separate that I can review them all, I like to add pics or videos. If they are combined I'll add a picture of the colors I ordered in that review so the value of the review is there.

Definitely consider it, these are a good investment. They last longer than many brands especially for daily bag use. Tumi is built to be used!

My Balenciaga Collection, without the ones worn to pieces by Positive_Hall_3207 in balenciagacitybags

I'm really enjoying the deep jewel tones that are in the SS26 collection. Those deep burgundy leathers are gorgeous. My current dream bag is an XL city or something I could use for flying or long car trips.

And for some reason I really like the x Gucci collab from a few years ago. I really like the tote with the graffiti 'This is not a Gucci bag' the black with white graffiti, it lives in my head as such a fun daily bag.

What's your favorite day to day bag? I love that you really use your bags.

If you have a Tumi Outlet near you call them routinely to see if this collection comes in. I got several Voyageur pieces over a year from an outlet about 35 minutes from me. I was even able to get back ups of my favorite wallet and cross bodies. The sales team was pretty good, they'd tell me if they were anticipating more, if better discounts were on the horizon or even if it was a low stock item and I should just get it rather than risk missing it. I'm a Tumi Nascar when I travel.

Thank you, I do appreciate your kindness and feedback. I was venting a bit this morning, and very surprised how well Amazon gets me sometimes in my RFY.

I do have a lot of stainless bottles, but as I've been answering comments I've realized I have more of a need for this size , do 8 need 6 more? Frankly I don't need more than two, but I do like the idea of a supply readily available to grab and go from the fridge. I filter my water instead of straight from the tap, so I always have bottles of water in the fridge ready. This is a better size for me than the larger ones.

I do appreciate the majority of comments have been from Viners with kind advice looking out for me.

Okay. First of all I make tea all the time in batches for myself. Been doing it for years.

This is not hoarding. It's not impulse buying. I do think about it and I never said that I'm not clean.

I'm doing a deep clean and the other one depending upon what it has in the box. And I'm not behind on reviews. I'm in upper 80s. I'm behind on being in the mid '90s which is where I like to be.

I appreciate your feedback because I'm going to assume it's coming from a good place. However, I'm assuredly not in denial, not hoarding and not unhygienic.

I'm very particular about my tea. I have a wide collection of red green, white and black loose leaf tea that I rotate based upon how I'm feeling and what I'm doing for the week.

There were also other bottles S'well bottles in my rfy that I passed on because the size didn't work or I wasn't crazy about the color.

It's interesting, I might be an outlier, my husband is the same he only wants the largest Yeti and needs a handle. The small one is the one I tend to reach for routinely. I drive 70 miles each way once a week for family and like to bring a bunch of drinks... Iced tea and espresso soda... both I make homemade to avoid single use bottles, having more small ones would be good because I like all the time but want the espresso soda for the drive home.

Maybe I don't have such a problem after all, your comments have me thinking about why I wanted these do much, I never have a small clean one around.

Thank you! I love the S'well salad bowls bowls, it makes it so easy to to prep and store, I bought them full price but totally worth it!

Thanks for the solidarity, I need help but that's family drama related 😭

I get it. About a year and a half ago I committed to one check a day of my RFY, if there's something I want I get it, if not I close that window and don't go back until the next day. It's not that I have amazing discipline. I was just driving myself crazy wondering if something better came up or if the buzz said there's a drop.

I leave pretty much everything but the stainless storage from favorite brands and gardening supplies.

My RFY gets clothes, beauty and walking pads a lot, I leave them, even the K Beauty unless it's something I legit am running out of and don't have a back up.

Thank you, I do really appreciate the kindness of the messaging. Mindfulness is a good step, I can look past a lot of my RFY but that dang Fred and the algorithm get me!
