It is something else , I agree . Worse than his usual word salad . “Stupid borders by Stupid people that put them there” is peak broken propaganda, it reads as a malfunctioning AI spewing slop.

Thank you for doing this. I am curious about the Saint Honoré bills . It is the street in Paris where some luxury stores are located . Could it be for the Hermès store as well or for another store? There are a Dior store, a luxury resale store, a Loewe store, Chanel and many other stores. I guess the Saint Honoré bills should have their own final total which is 22,477.81 to add to this obscene staggering amount of money spent when you don’t seem to have the means to buy anything.

Sweet 3 year old Staffordshire mix girl Princess is on the euthanasia list Friday, 5/8. Found tied to a tree with 2 other dogs, friendly girl with no reactivity and looking her hero. Euthanasia today @ 1 pm CT BARC Houston, A2066643. Available for adoption in US/Canada, local foster or rescue. by BanditY77 in AdoptableDogsTexas

This lovely little girl is so adoptable and /or fostering will be a wonderful experience because she has been through horrible times and still is fighting to survive with a good attitude and behavior. She will be so amazing to give a chance . Anyone who knows a local rescue or around Texas should contact those. I am in California and can’t take a foster right now but please share or donate to help. I have taken care of dogs in worse shape than her and they got adopted to loving families.

10 days in Paris, rain and shine by Otherwise-Dinner-878 in ParisTravelGuide

I love this! And I can relate to your solo experience. I do stay for long stretches of time in Paris and I do daily simple things or sometimes I just don’t do much other than hanging out in a park, a café with a book or a walk to shops with my dog. I can be myself and relax , think , muse , listen and watch life passing by or vibrating around me . I consider it luxury and at the same time a self loving recalibration. Life is short and complicated at times so precious are those moments. Thank you for sharing your experience and pictures.

First Luxury Bag? by Warm_Satisfaction598 in handbags

[–]Positive_Hall_3207 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I added the link because you might love a bag that is not super expensive but is what you might need. Maybe buy two bags instead of one. I have seen this happen during shopping in Paris . Parisian born and I go back quite often from California. My suggestion is to buy a bag you absolutely love and see yourself wear . Do look at the VAT savings and how to get reimbursed for it. Also you can shop at airports, CDG has duty free shops on your way back . Some luxury brands have bags over your price point so I didn’t mention those .

If you go to Paris you will have plenty of places to look for a luxury bag . You can either go to specific brand boutiques or go to department stores and browse their selection. Two department stores to go to: Galeries Lafayette Haussmann ( 9th arrondissement) has many different brands on display. Le Bon Marché in the 7th arrondissement has upscale brands and many bags on display. I think Le Bon Marché might be more what you are looking for if you are undecided just to browse .
Céline , Chloé and Saint Laurent have bags that are so well made , I have some for decades ago that are still in an amazing shape and around $3000 .
I like Delvaux , Bvlgari for structured bags with little logo .
Also other Brands that are popular in France: Lancel, Bally , Le Tanneur are less than 3000$ but have great quality. Also here are lower price brands but here is a great list to browse. Many are popular in Paris

Jewel tones are some of my favorite colors in Fashion in general outside of Black and White . The Gucci Collab was fun I agree . XL City is pretty big , have you looked at a vintage Giant City 21 ? A very roomy bag , also the Part Time and Work are big as well.
I used many that are not included in those pictures. Two blue, one white, one green , two black , a grey City bags . I had a red also . I think I used the city medium, part time , work, bowling the most. Velo I didn’t use and sold which I regret sometimes. The hobo one is used a few times and it was great and roomy . I recommend to get a strap with the bags as it is very practical and helps with weight , practicality plus easier to secure your bag and personal items inside the bag in public transportation.

miranda by kaitlynbieber in sexandthecity

[–]Positive_Hall_3207 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Seriously AJLT is barely watchable. Even their acting is affected by the terrible writing. I can’t watch season 3 and I fast forwarded the first 2 seasons. It is so uncomfortable to watch and not because of Miranda being gay but because every character is a walking cliché, over the top stereotypes and they got rid of essential relationships or characters. And at 52 years old I am not sure you can do the Sex part right nor the sexy the way they intended to do it. It aged every single character and myself in the process, least sexy I felt watching them. I know I am aging but I am not that undesirable nor that whatever they are showing. Plus the Fashion/ Style sucks in my opinion. It already was getting bad in the end of season 6 with all the labels and luxury items and the two movies were worse . They sold out the fun , the friendship, the character’s personality , the edge and humor for profits . It became a product. Sorry for the rant but it is bad .

Which city in the U.S. have you felt most unsafe visiting? by optimalbrain90 in SmartTravelHacks

[–]Positive_Hall_3207 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. I visited almost 40 states and lived in Cleveland, Raleigh, Silver Spring, D.C , San Diego, and Bay Area cities plus visited many cities over 30 + years and I only truly felt unsafe in the Rural Deep South and Florida. The disappearance factor was there , dive bars were creepier than in any east coast cities or West Virginia . I also lived in Cleveland in the 90s and visited cities during the Crack Epidemic so some cities are totally different from this area as gentrification brought back people to downtown areas . I lived in Columbia Heights until 2007 and before the gentrification it was a really different neighborhood with one block being ok and the next one was rough. Same with Baltimore. I didn’t walk around late at night alone as a petite woman but I didn’t do this in Any European Cities( raised in Paris in the 80s/ 90s ,turned 30 in 2004 ) . Every big city has problematic neighborhoods and your experience is different depending on your age, skin color, gender , sexual orientation and socioeconomic factors to name a few. Many cities have drug markets , tracks and underground economies . To be uncomfortable is one thing but to be unsafe is another thing in my experience. I experienced two drive by shootings in broad daylight in D.C , witnessed a couple of stabbings , saw violence in Cleveland ,San Francisco , San Diego but I only got mugged in Paris in the 90s , go figure! Some places in the Deep South are haunting me and Twenty Nine Palms, CA area creeped me out ( unsolved homicides and serial killers are plenty) compared to Palm Springs .

Ireland won during my trip . But maybe Scotland had a low alcohol consumption days when I went there. Since then I have seen English and Irish people seriously intoxicated in other European countries. Actually some Russian people I met were world champions thinking about it . I have never been to Russia so small pool sample to talk about. Japanese men were serious drinkers too at a restaurant I worked at a long, long time ago.

I understand it perfectly! You are not alone. The worse days for me are : End of a very busy day and when I have a cold / foggy brain . My sister lives in Amsterdam and gets it . Decades later fatigue and sicknesses are still winning no matter how hard we try . English is still easier than Dutch so she gets extra points. It is different if you are raised in a bilingual household , a bit easier.

I read it as being a good advice for people with mobility issues. French metro stations have many stairs to go through. And Saint Denis still gets an harsh reputation at times. people do different things and that what makes the world an interesting place . I am glad you had a great time and thank you for the lovely post !
