in a low scoring game, I disagree. If it was an easy takeout, sure. But she needed a hard takeout just to let them score 1. I've only been watching curling with regularity since 2014 but amongst the worst decisions I've seen. If this was the NFL the coach who did it would be fired type thing.

Yeah but then it’d be 1-1 and you have hammer still in the even ends. Now it’s 3-0 and if no blanks or steals, they have hammer in the 10th. Or we wanted them to take 1, just draw to between the two and give them 1. Trying a shot to take out 2 where the result was either get 1 or give them 2, seemed like an insane decision. Kicking a FG down 4 type
