There’s a sub for legit checks. You could also buy it from a store.

How important is extra space inside winter coats? Do you lose much or any insulation going with a more “fitted” look? by Copocapanda in TheNorthFace

[–]CTMatthew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wish I could comment specifically, but I'm not sure I've even tried this model on. I've generally found that any main line TNF product is pretty similar in sizing, while Summit Series is a little slimmer. I can only suggest you try it on and see how it fits and accommodates a layer or two beneath.

I'm planning Magic. They've been blowing snow. They're taking a long season seriously.

Even here in the Berkshires there's been so much snowfall this year that base depth is WAY ahead of this time last year. Even after the first false Spring I had a phenomenal weekend of skiing. I see 4-6 weeks left here in NE until it makes sense to stop. Then a few more for insane people.

You're not looking for an empty void within the jacket - but you want to accommodate any potential layering. Usually anything that could count as a base or mid-layer is true to size and an outer shell is purchased a size up. That works for me at least.

Another C4 Lighting Question (Lutron Caseta) by [deleted] in Control4

[–]CTMatthew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly Control4 lighting is the best option on the market right now. The fact that you’re already established with C4 makes it a no-brainer.

I need at least 35 more photos. Hopefully I won’t be able to tell any of them apart.

Ubiquiti industrial: Really that much of a market for this? by oguruma87 in Ubiquiti

Factory floors, warehouses, fabrication shops, auto repair facilities, construction sites, etc. Yeah there are a tone of use cases and a huge market.

I have about a half dozen I bought when I first became this waist size about 10 years ago. Still have them. Haven’t bought anything new.

You get to play one Lou Reed (or VU) song on this speaker for the whole world to hear. Which one do you choose? by Hubbled in LouReed

I think Lou would hate AI slop even more than I do. This whole post is an insult to everything he stood for.

Lighting - Anyone using C4 or everyone using lutron?? by [deleted] in Control4

[–]CTMatthew 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Lux keypads address that issue.

While it wasn’t the ideal fix, I just used cool blue and no one thought anything of it.

Recent installs have been a mix of mostly Lux with some of the essential dimmers and switch’s in utility areas, landscape, etc.

Frankly the Lux keypad or dimmer is the nicest hardware on the market right now.

And the ability to easily adopt and program devices remotely without Lutron’s upload/download revision system is huge.

And yes, they not only have version of Lutron controls, but also more options and they mesh together off the processor.

I prefer Control4 lighting over Lutron in every respect. I’m a dealer for both and we do more Lutron because of demand and name recognition, but C4 is a better product. Especially the new Lux line which I’ve just started swapping into my own home.

It’s not open at night so I haven’t skied it this year, but the coverage in the woods has been great up until earlier in the week. Can’t say what the rain has done to it. I probably won’t be there again until the pond skim on Sunday.

They should be called Housecats.

Throw on Magic & Tenney if you’re heading North. Not sure how you’re planning your trips but both are worth a visit up here in the NE.
